I'm making a second set of worn overlays and have a question for you. If I include the overlay and the paper shape would you be able to use them?
Like in a .tiff or .psd format template?
Thanks!

I would prefer psd as I cannot use tiff.
Hope that helps. Not sure if this matters but I use PSPX.

Yeah, PSP can use PSD files (only PS can use layered TIFF files). Apparently so can Photo Impact (use PSD files) but I have no idea. DIP users won't be able to use them, but would (possibly?) be able to use the regular PNG ones - I'm not sure of the capabilities of the program to be sure.

I can't get a TIFF to work as a layered file in PhotoImpact no matter what I try. And PNGs...nightmare! The program treats them as objects. I can't just convert it to something else so I can select around it (I've been trying since this post when up, lol!) and then delete the excess paper like in PS.
I now remember, vividly, why I only use PI for material effects. :D

PNGs or PSD's would work fine in PSP, but not layered TIffs--there is a way in PSP to kind of simulate a clipping mask.

 In Photo Impact a psd file with the overlay and a paper shape would work perfectly! PNGs would work too as long as the paper shape is included. PI doesn't read TIFs as layered files, so that one's out for us. (Leila--what is it you're trying to do? PNG overlays without the paper shape are a nightmare in PI, but if you have a png paper shape it should be very easy to use with the texture fill tool. You just select the desired paper as the texture file and tell it not to resize. PM me if you need help.)

Thanks, everyone. I thought .psd files were the way to go but I wanted to make sure.
