Actually it is pork because that is what we had. But it smells soooooo good! I can't wait for supper!
Here is what I did:
Took a pork roast (about 4 pounds) and dumped it in the crock pot. Poured a 16 oz. jar of sliced pepperoncinis on top and let it cook on low all day.
I will serve it on hoagie rolls with provolone cheese. It is spicy so kidlets might not like it.

Mimi, the best way I know to describe them is a hot but slightly sweet pepper. Similar to jalapenos (which I happen to like better, but the rest of my family doesn't)

They are the peppers that come with a Papa John's pizza. They are hot banana peppers.
