woo hoo, I am excited. I just set this li'l Roku (http://www.roku.com/products/netflixplayer/index.php)box up. I think it took maybe 5 minutes from opening box to me watching beginning of Mean Girls. It's picking up my wireless network, phew. Picture quality looks good to me. Our TV is quite old. It took a minute or so for the movie to appear.

One thing that could be better is how you select a movie. You basically have to scroll through your whole queue until you find the movie you want to watch. But you can scroll through pretty quickly.

Any way, so far so good. We only get local network channels so I think for us this is a good thing.

Mimi--can you put movies/episodes in your queue and just browse those instead of having to go thru all the movies and stuff?

How is it different from the Netflix Watch Instantly? Is the box just so you can do it through the tv instead of the computer? They both advertise the 12,000 movies thing so I was just wondering.

oh yeah, you just see your Instant Watch queue that you set up online and it is in the same order as you have it online. I have over 40 movies in my queue. But it's really quick to scroll through.

I've watched a few things today and had a couple instances where there was a brief hiccup and where the home screen reloaded itself due to my internet connection. But was very minor.

If you stop watching something midway, you can go back to it and choose to pick up from where you stopped or start over. Also when you FF or rewind you can see where you are by scene/frame.

So far I am liking it.
