I just finished watching Ben Stein's new documentary, Expelled. (http://www.expelledthemovie.com/)
It was, hands down, the most powerful documentary I've ever seen.
Check it out. Its worth it.

THe trailer looks really interesting. It's too late tonight but I'm going to watch it tomorrow!

It's awesome and I especially loved the ending. Snicker, snort, is what I was thinking and doing. LOL Aliens. Uh-huh. :D Won't give anything away here. I just say with you Jenny, it's definitely worth watching.

I found interesting articles for and against it :) Mostly scientists vs. religionists but some had valid points...on both sides :)

We LOOOVE Ben Stein and can't wait to get this to watch. We're booked this week and can't fit it in, so will do it next week when we get back from moving my grandmother.

The thing I liked best about the documentary is that it wasn't a religion vs. science debate. It was literally Science vs. Science. I loved the quote from the guy who got fired and blacklisted for mentioning "Intelligent Design". He' said "All I want is the right to follow the scientific evidence WHEREVER it may lead".
I already want to watch it again.
Oh, and for those of you that saw already... didn't you love at the end when he referenced Bueller with the "anyone? anyone?" thing? *snicker*

I agree. He's so well-spoken and very intelligent and he is great about sticking to the facts rather than emotions and feelings (which is good when you're talking about science)

I love Ben Stein too! When I first saw a preview for this I had goosebumps all over my body! I need to borrow this from you Jenny! I def don't need proof to know my God is alive and well, but I appreciate Ben Stein and his viewpoints.
