Ok just b/c I know there will be a ton of questions, comments, etc about the news in the newsletter this am..if you all would post them in this ONE thread they will be addressed :) I can't guarantee that numerous other threads wouldn't get lost so I think having them in 1 spot will be great!

As there is no way to transfer customer information & order histories from one shopping cart to the next, please make sure you download all products in your recent orders as soon as possible and use all coupons and outstanding gift certificate balances before we close on Friday, November 8th. If you have any questions or need assistance with anything, please feel free to contact us.

Please Note: As we have lots of events and promotions scheduled throughout November & December, Sweet Rewards coupons earned in October will be eligible for use 12/8-12/12. Additionally, to give our SugarBabes a break during the busy holiday season, our regular challenge schedule & Sweet Rewards points will NOT be tracked in November & December. I'm curious to know with the NEW X Shopping Cart system if I will still be able to pay with my Credit/Debit Card....For some reason my computer does not like Paypal and it keeps me from being able to purchase things at other Shops and sites IF they only accept payment by Paypal....

yep there WILL be a wishlist :) and I *believe* a little something special to go with it the day SSD opens back up..but that's just a *rumor* on that part

All I did was change my e-mail addy here in the forum and also at the shoppe, then the newsletters stopped coming. :(

lmao...DUH! Meghan you so rock. You talked me into a kit (Kristin's Giggles) a few months ago and I haven't stopped using that kit and now you remind me when I am being forgetful. Must save money for DSD. :)

Yep, the whole site. I promise we're all as distraught about it as you are. LOL! I think the poor Babes are in denial. But it's gonna be SO awesome.

I've seen just a small peek of what the new site will look like, and I think you'll love it! And XCart ROCKS! So, this is going to be an amazing change that we're all totally excited about! :)

I know that another site that I used to hang out at when they closed the site for a week, they opened a temporary forum so everyone could still meet and chatter it up all week. it made it MUCH more bearable!!

I am excited that the new cart will have a wish list feature!! I never have gotten into kaboodle and I "live" here at SSD so it will be nice to be able to keep track of everything I NEED!!! :thumbup:

Oh actually I do have a question...with the new wishlist do you think itll have a thing where when you purchase something that is in your wishlist itll mark it as being bought? Not sure how to word it...like you put the items you want into your wishlist then later on you go to purchase it then it'll take that item and mark it as purchased.

Pretty sure when you buy something off your wishlist, it just deletes itself from the list.

I know you can go into your wishlist and add to cart from there..which would thing remove it from the wishlist

It's not pretty or designed or anything, because I never did anything with it, but it could be a place to hang out and chat.

We will still be accepting credit cards as usual (sorry that we are having issues today with credit cards - I'm looking into a fix but we may not be able to get it taken care of until monday :( )

You wont have to reregister for the newsletter or forums, but you will have to reregister to shop.

Yes, but for anything that's not *new* after the cart, it will be out of order, since most of us added our old products in alphabetically.

I think the date added option will only work for the new releases the day store opens onward...which will be nice..if that's an option.

I agree. I'm always kind of nervous about change. But I am excited to see the new look! And everyone knows how much we all love the challenges around here so I'm sure they will great as ever!

The week SSD is down.. I'll be back in my classroom after being off for 12 weeks, so I'll have my J-O-B keeping my hiney busy. I'll also get online and look for what I had intended to look for instead of getting lost in the forum :w00t: like I do all too often.
