I have like 10 or so pairs of IN PERFECT CONDITION 8 slim girls pants. Old Navy, GAP, Mossimo...etc.

Do you think it is worth my time to post on EBay or should I just take em to a consignment shop? I would say it is easily $130+ worth of jeans/pants.

What would you do...if I do post em on EBay what would be a fair price?

I have no idea how things work over there...

Thanks for the help, peeps. :)

I would put them on ebay as seperate auctions personally then list them each starting at say 1.00 but figure out how much you want per pair and put a buy it now price or reserve price. If you take them to a consignment store you wont get much because they keep alot of what they are being sold for as their fee for selling KWIM? At least on ebay whatever they sell for is all for you to keep.

ETA:the reason I suggest selling as individual items is youd likely get more that way and you can combine shipping if one person buys more then one item but you might get more people bidding if they just like one or two different pairs and dont want to have to purchase a whole lot to get the couple pairs they want.

I would put them on Ebay as opposed to the consignment shop. If you don't wnat to mess w/ the shipping and all that, you could always try Craigs list. The thing with Ebay is that unless you do buy it now, or a reserve, you run the risk of letting your pants go for less than what you want to sell them for. I've sold some of J's clothes recently on craigslist with no problems. :)

Good luck!!

Oh yea craigslist is another good option. My husband sold a lawnmower on there recently and got more then what we paid for it (we got a really good deal on it and paid less then what it is worth)

I'd def do ebay or craigslist, I am always looking for "lots" (multiple items in one size) on ebay, for Elle, just put a reserve at what the minimum you'd wanna make.. :)

I buy in lots on ebay too...I'd list maybe 5 pair in a lot on ebay with a reserve and buy it now option.

I personally would do it in lots, too. When I was still buying clothes for the boys, I'd go for lots because it was cheaper on my end, shipping was a better deal, etc. But my luck with ebay and clothes has never been great especially since shipping is so high, and sometimes was more than the clothes were worth. So I'd do it in lots to make it more marketable.

man if they were 10slims i would solve the problem for you. cass basically skipped size 8 and went to 10s. she is getting so tall but not filling out a lot. i think she is going to be a tall skinny girl...LOL

craigslist would be a good bet right now with winter coming :)

I just tried selling jeans on Craigslist for less than what I know I could get on Ebay and I didn't have any luck. I would go for Ebay and list a lot of 5 pairs each like already suggested. I wouldn't put a reserve on it though. A reserve seems to turn people away (at least in my experience). I have been looking for jeans on Ebay for my girls and have noticed the ones that are photographed well and include more pictures (front and back) go for a lot higher.

what you would do is tell me how much you want for them! lmao I have a skinny minny 9 year old, wearing mostly 7s, with a few 8s. hehehhee
