Wow I couldn't believe it! ...but my laptop arrived yesterday afternoon!
My old laptop was in the shop (in and out) for 2 months and finally Office Max decided it couldn't be fixed...so they sent me a Gift Certificate for the full purchase amount and tax to be used on a new computer. Well the laptop I wanted was on sale for $150 off...so made it the price of my old laptop...I ordered it late on Monday...they said they would ship it out on Tuesday and I should have it by December 3rd...and it showed up the very next day!
I have an HP Pavilon dv7-1130us entertainment notebook pc...17" monitor! You can see it here:
http://www.shopping.hp.com/store/product/product_detail/FS126UA%2523ABA
It has 4GB RAM! (1GB on old), 250GB hard drive (80GB on old), and oh so much more...but those 2 items were biggies...and ds says it is a little more powerful. I just finished (I hope) installing all my software...so ready to start moving my kits over to the drive to have something to work on during Thanksgiving day and when we travel to Ft Smith Arkansas for the Regional Robotics Competition!
