How can I make buckeyes without owning a double boiler?
Tabby and I are fiending for a good homemade sweet but our oven is broken:thumbdown:, we don't own a double boiler:thumbdown:, or a mixer  (I know, huh?) , and we suck at fudge.

Double boiler for melting chocolate?
I would put a glass bowl over a pot of boiling water. Sorry, I don't know how to make Buckeyes, so I am not sure what you want to use the double boiler for.

You can just melt the chocolate in the microwave or if your stove top works, just boil water and put a bowl over the top, for a make shift double boiler.
