I have it on good authority that I'll be getting this for Christmas from Jordan's parents (cuz, it was the only idea I gave them :p).
Now, point me in the direction of wonderful goodies for it!! Please? Thanks!!!

Mom is a teacher, so they're getting it from Academic Superstore with his mom's discount. Or they could've gotten it using either of his still-in-college sisters info. :) Otherwise I wouldn't have asked!

My most recent LR related purchase were all of Kathryn Wilson's presets from WST and I use them all the time and love them! I also have Christian O'Dell's presets @ CatScrap on my wish list, just waiting for a really good sale since they are kind of pricey! For now I use mostly free presets that I've found on the web - here is a great list of free presets - http://www.prophotoshow.net/blog/2007/11/09/lightroom-presets-the-ultimate-free-list/
Also a resource book on Lightroom would be good to have, I have Scott Kelby's "The Adobe Photohop Lightroom Book for Digital Photographers" and it is great. I just need to find more time to sit down and finish it!

Oh yeah his books are great! I have both of his Digital Photography books too and really liked them. The book I have is for LR1 but I think I read somewhere (Lightroom Killer Tips (http://www.lightroomkillertips.com/) maybe) that he updated it for LR2 after it released.

I have Lightroom 2.0 and I LOVE it. I don't know what I would do without it now. I shoot in Raw and it really cuts down on my processing time. I don't have to run actions anymore...I just apply the preset to the Raw file and save it as a JPEG. It rocks!
I like the Presets from Wonderland (http://www.wonderlandpresets.com/). I bought his 2.0 version and it looks like he has a new set out, 3.0.
Also, Matt Koskowski has a bunch of free Presets here at Killer Tips (http://www.lightroomkillertips.com/archives/presets/).
There are also free presets here at Presets Heaven (http://www.presetsheaven.com/).
Have fun!

I just got some nice presets by Victoria Feemster during her sale.
One on One has a nice batch of free ones http://www.ononesoftware.com/detail.php?prodLine_id=33.
Inside Lightroom has some nice ones too http://inside-lightroom.com/colour-presets/
I heard somewhere that Scott's book was being updated for 2 as well. I'm holding off buying the one that is currently out in hopes for 2.

As for LR freebies I love these two (already mentioned above).
I use Matt Kloskowski presets (http://www.lightroomkillertips.com/archives/presets/) on every photo I process!
I also love the One-Click WOW! (http://www.ononesoftware.com/detail.php?prodLine_id=33) presets by Jack Davis.

OMG Bless you!! I've been looking for a free (good) vignette preset!! I don't know why I've never stumbled across Matt's!! I'm in download heaven!!
I had to get v2 when I got my new camera (Nikon d90) since the older one wouldn't support it. So I begrudgingly spent the upgrade money so I could process my RAWS and set my white balances (I still can't do this right in photoshop)!! Now I'm curious about the new features in 2, but haven't had time to play yet!

I got a Barnes and Noble GC for Christmas and I just reserved it at the one near our house. Hopefully I'll pick it up tonight and have it when I get the program on wednesday.
