Is it really only ONE WEEK until Christmas? WOW! I'm really excited and the girls are beside themselves, but I'm not ready. Actually, I'm done shopping, but I haven't wrapped a single thing. EEK!
How's everyone else doing?

I've done a lot of the wrapping, but I have family coming in from out of town and the house is still a disaster!

For us it's one day!
We're leaving for our family vacation tomorrow, and will have no time for baking, cooking, shopping, etc., so have to have it all done by tomorrow at noon!
Am I ready!? nowhere near :(
Our reindeer noses just flopped..so I only have enough to give to my grandmother's care staff, and none for the family. I still haven't finished the laundry, cleaned out the car, finished presents and wrapping, blahblahblah!
Make the most of your time girls!!
Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas to you all!

Well, Santa came while DH was home so we're done with that but I still have my family stuff coming up next week and I have not purchased the first gift! I've been a little busy you know birthing babies and all and now I've got to get my butt in gear for Christmas..the bad thing right now is that I still can't drive which is driving me nutty. The baby has her newborn checkup Monday so I hope my Mom and I get to get a little shopping done that day. My family is just going to have to understand if I don't go all out this year though.

Um. Yeah, I'm screwed. Not done shopping. Haven't started wrapping. I think I've given up on the idea of a Christmas card this year. 7 days is not enough time to get it all done.
Anybody have a magic wand?

I am almost done shopping.. I have 3 gift cards left to pick up which I will do tomorrow or Saturday. I have not wrapped a single thing yet. Abby and I are doing the baking either Sunday night or Monday night, I just went to walmart and picked up everything. :)
So.. I really should wrap. LOL I will probably do that Friday night when Abs spends the night w/ my mom.

December has gone by too fast for me! I haven't even mailed my cards yet! But I am almost done shopping! Just a couple of small things left. Just have to wrap it all and make some goodies for neighbors and friends. I am so excited to see my kids experience Christmas this year. My 2 year old LOVES santa and all day long I hear him say "Santa--Ho ho ho." It is so cute!

All my presents have been ordered, I'm waiting on 2 to show up still. I plan n wrapping things this weekend, but I only really have to wrap for my family. When we get home after Christmas I can wrap for Jordan's.
The Christmas cards still haven't been sent out, and I don't care one bit, lol. I refuse to let it stress me out.

I haven't bought a single gift yet. I'm a plan-way-ahead kind of gal but the funds didn't allow for that so I'm like halfway to an anxiety attack 24/7 here. :D lol
I did, however, decorate and get a few batches of cookies done.

I always set out with hopes of slowing down the whole advent experience, and without fail, every year it flies by. I've done some baking and crafts with bugga and our shopping is almost completely finished. Our cards should arrive today so I can get those out. But I have a few Christmas present projects to finish and I haven't dug into wrapping yet. Still so many things on my to-do list, include scrapping, and soooo little time! Ack!!

Not done shopping and I've only wrapped the gifts that have already been given. :D You know teachers, bus driver, and the sort. :) Not sure when I'm going to get my shopping finished as we have something scheduled every day from now until Christmas and the closest decent shopping is 1.5 hours away. Yikes.
Halfway to an anxiety attack 24/7 here too.

My shopping is nearly done, I just have to get one more thing for each of the girls and a few stocking stuffers and I plan on doing that tomorrow since DH gets paid then. I haven't wrapped a single thing yet but I'm planning on working on that Saturday night since the girls are sleeping over at my BIL & SIL's house! I still need to get my Xmas cards and my CD calendars done, I'm printing those locally though so I can procrastinate awhile longer on those lol!

Just sitting here waiting for my cards to break free from Canada Customs jail, or else my reprints to show, then I'll mail those out (envelopes are done and ready).
Otherwise I have 4 gifts to wrap, and we have to go pick up Benjamin's computer, and that's it. Wheee!

Just about done shopping. We have to pick up a few things yet for the girls stockings. Everything that I have so far has been wrapped. I didn't send Christmas cards out this year so I don't need to stress about those. I don't bake but we did help my mom bake chocolate chip cookies this year.
My only issue this year is the lack of money I have and having to rely on Dave to pretty much pick everything up. :(

I am done! I had off from work yesterday and sent the family to work and daycare as normal and then spent the day getting everything done. So now on my next days off, we just get to hang out and bake.

I was seriously stressed until yesterday when I got 95% of the wrapping done. The shopping is done. The cards and packages have been shipped. Hopefully today I can get a last few things done and then be able to sit back and enjoy the rest of it!

Haven't started my shopping, let alone wrapping. We are leaving on vacation Sunday or Monday (depending on when the storm will hit, so I need to be prepared Saturday night!).
Luckily, my kids are young enough that they aren't putting any unintentionable pressure on me to make the magic happen this year. We're just kind of going with the flow. This is the last year DH is in grad school (HALLELUJAH!) so hopefully next year I'll be able to get out my Christmas village and Christmas tree and all the other decoration and really be in the spirit of things again.
