They have already canceled school here for tomorrow!

Where is "here"??

I'm wondering if we'll have school, though we're only supposed to get 3-6 inches. If it's 3, we'll have school. If it's closer to 6 ... we probably won't.

Melinda in Wisconsin ... didn't it say where we were from before? I must have dreamed that, lol.

I'm in Wisconsin awaiting the pending snowfall and hoping to God that school is NOT cancelled tomorrow. If it is, I have to use a vacation day to stay home with my kids. I would much rather spend my vacation ON vacation. We have already had one snow day this school year.

It hasn't started yet in PA where I am but we are forecasted to get anywhere between 4-8 inches. I really hope school is cancelled! Haley still has school Mon and Tuesday and starts her Chirstmas break Wednesday.

Oh WOW...Traci, it is snowing/icing there?! I have not watched the national weather in a loooong time  Nothing but fog here in Tennessee...it's been here all day...very cool at night, I must say...the street lights do amazing and inspirational things, color wise :)

Some of the schools here have already announced closings for tomorrow. They're mostly private schools that don't provide any transportation for the students. The only way our district will close is if the bus companies say they can't drive safely through the elements. If we get what's being predicted (7"-11"), I hope they do close. JP has to walk home from school in all that! (Devin is bused as per his IEP.)

We just went back to school on Wed and now they are getting out early today for the predicted 8-12" we are getting, plus another huge one is coming in Sunday night so they may not have school on Monday and they start xmas break on Wed! They are going to be in school till July this year!

This is one storm I think we will be okay...we are closer to the Canadian border so maybe 4 inches for us. We had so many snow days last year...school went 8 days longer than scheduled in June.

Ok, the kids got off but there is not one flake on the ground as of yet. Well at least we get a 3 day weekend.

It's raining.

Have I mentioned I hate living here?
