I haven't seen the movie, so I don't know about the current Jacob. But in New Moon he's like a totally different person physically, so a change sorta makes sense, doesn't it? Didn't Bella like, barely recognize him cuz he'd matured so much? That's a hard transformation for a single actor to make.

I think Taylor was perfect for the 1st movie, but I agree that he just wouldn't be able to pull it off from the 2nd movie on. He's just too boyish and the new Jacob is supposed to be HUGE and manly overnight.

I have not read the books or seen the movie, but people who are mean just for the sake of being mean really bother me. Why resort to personal attacks on the actor? Why not contact the screen writers or the author that wrote the character in such a way (I think it's because as ignorant as they are they somehow already have a sense of how little their opinion should mater to the artists working on these books & movies)? People just don't think things all the way through. Also, shame on that website for giving those people their 15 min. I hope the actor's rep continues to have no comment!

I got an email update about that the other day & was quite happy! I just can't imagine them changing to a different actor at this point, I think Taylor will do great in New Moon. And he was just so excited about playing Jacob in all the movies, I think he would have been just crushed if they had gone with that Michael Copon! That guy is hot but I think it was just really stupid of him to announce on his FB that he was the new Jacob before he actually even had the job!

I liked the book but the movie seemed to be a little choppy for me. I'm sure they could have made it a little longer (it only runs 1hr 53 minutes and I know some movies run over 2 hours).

It'll be interesting to see how they can make this kid 6 ft. tall,lol. Bulk isn't the really bad issue, to me it's the height,lol.
That is the only thing I ever forsaw as an issue with the kid.
