Do any of you have an office chair that you love to death?

I am finding that the one I currently have just kills my back.

Please link me up or let me know of a good one that you have experience with.

Also, any tips would be helpful as far as an ergonomic work space.

TY, peeps. :)

Well I'm not helping with the chair part. LOL I hate my workspace right now. I have an L shaped desk and my monitor is in the corner with the tray there too. When we set up our new computers, which I'm hoping is in like 3 weeks, I'm going to put my monitor on one side or the other, same with my keyboard and mouse. Having it in the corner throws me off and it makes my shoulder hurt every day.. so there's my tip for ya fizzy.. don't sit at an angle. :D

I don't know about ergonomic office chairs, but a friend once told me that those exercise balls are good for posture and sitting on one at your desk helps you not slouch. I've always wanted to try it since...I have REALLY bad posture, lol.

My "chair" right now is the stool from my grandma's old sewing cabinet, lol. Kinda hard and not very comfy, and obviously without a back.

I have no idea what kind of chair mine is, but I like it a lot. It has a lumbar support thingy that you can move up and down the back of the chair so it curves to meet your back just right.

HOW do you do that? I would die if I had to sit at a chair w/ no back.

I actually find even when I'm in a chair that I don't lean back...my back never touches the back of the chair. I lean forward all the time when I'm at the computer. When I'm just sitting around visiting or whatever, then I relax and lean on the back of the chairs (but that's usually in the kitchen, lol).

One of the hotels I stayed in had a Herman Miller (http://www.amazon.com/Aeron-Chair-Herman-Miller-Adjustable/dp/B000XYUJIQ/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=office-products&qid=1229718413&sr=8-1) one. That was one damn comfy chair but omg price. LOL

I was just going to say Herman Miller. My uncle works at a used Office Furniture store in Arizona and he got this one for me. I LOVE IT!!!

Umm, yeah. Herman Miller Aeron chair. And there really is no substitute, don't hate me. Yes, they are WAY BEYOND ludicrous expensive. If you want to look see, sit4less.com (http://www.sit4less.com)

Other than that? Raise/angle your chair so that when you rest your forearms on the arm chair rests your wrists are positioned directly above your keyboard or mouse with minimal bend in your wrists - the backs of your wrists and forearms should be as straight as possible - and your fingers then just drop onto the keys and mouse. Not sure how this works with a tablet?

and if you're not on a notebook, maybe raise your monitor so that the middle of the screen is at eye level - helps you not slouch in your chair... HTH!

Yeah, I had an Aeron back when I worked in a "real" office. That was a great chair!
