DH's family gets together for a brunch on Christmas morning every year. This year we will be hosting the event at our house. In the past we have done a traditional breakfast type thing (waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.) and we have also done omelets, where all the ingredients were laid out buffet style and everyone could customize their own omelet before it was cooked.

I would like to do something different this year, but I have absolutely NO ideas. Anyone got some inspiration to share? We will be having 9 adults and 5 children, and there needs to be lots of food for everyone. We will be splitting up some food assignments, so I don't have to cook everything, but mostly, we're in charge of the event.

Thanks in advance for all your wonderful ideas!

We compiled a TON of recipes in this thread (https://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20402)! My contribution was a recipe for Caramel Apple Stuffed French Toast (http://www.bbonline.com/recipe/runninghorse_mt_recipe1.html) (if nothing else, the site it's on has some AMAZING recipes!).

It might be fun to do a spin on a "make your own" type thing... like have pancake batter and everyone could add their own toppings as their pancakes are being made (berries, nuts, chocolate chips, etc) to customize.

What about a bunch of different quiches, or a hashbrown casserole, or homemade corned beef hash. Geez I just ate dinner and now i'm hungry again! lol
