O.M.G. What have I done?

So my son's been asking for a "Crash Em Up Race Track" for a couple months for Christmas and on Wednesday I finally figured out what it was. So I go to Amazon and the normally $70 toy is on sale for 20.99 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0019KMIBE) so I snatch it up (and let me just say the price went up immediately..yay for me on the deal!)

AFTER I buy it I realize it says it's a 4 FT track. I live in an apartment. Doh. So the box gets here today and sure enough, the thing is 4 feet tall!! Good lord!!!

We got that for Jamin last year thinking it would fit on his train table. Nope. We were stepping over it for weeks. Now it gets set up every once in awhile then put away.

We got that track for Dom last Christmas... I don't personally like it because it doesn't stay together well enough to stand up to a REAL boy's playing! :glare:

This is the reason that I say no to any race track the boys want. They all are just way too big and you know that they aren't going to take it apart everytime they get done playing with it.

Hope you can find the room for it.

Can you just imagine how excited he is going to be when he opens it! It'll be worth the space it takes up! Maybe you can put it in his room(if you think he won't stay up playing with it all night) :o)

He LOVED it, but then he kept disassembling is and it was a PITA to get together. I have to say though, that photo you posted makes it look WAY bigger than it is!
Even though we put the track away (maybe we will get it out again during the holidays) he still loves shakin up those cars and crashing them into the walls LOL.:thumbup:

We have it also! We have the original one (Shake and Go Speedway) also and this version is much better. They live in a rubbermaid tote and come out every couple months.

I feel your pain girl...my twins b-day is today and my oldest was born on Jan 3rd...talk about getting jipped!!!!!

Traci, my boys would LOVE that track!!! I think my parents picked one up at Costco (a different one) but this one looks so cool! Have fun walking around it.....remember to really pick up your feet! The boys have a Geo-Trax train which they insist on setting up right between the kitchen and the family room. I'm always tripping over it because I don't step high enough! :)
