so here we are, up in Calgary (3 hours from where we live), doing our Christmas shopping for the kids. And my hubby pops into a camera store ... to look at the Nikon D60 for me. Yup, you guessed it - I am now the owner of a Nikon D60!!! It came with just the one lens, but it's still better than my Kodak P&S!!! Now to learn how to use the darn thing before Christmas morning. hehehee

eta - we got the kids some outfits, Jenna a new iPod Nano (just like her big brother already has, but pink) & some pink earbuds to go with it, and some stocking stuff. Cody will be getting snowboard boots, and some new skate shoes, but we kinda need him with us for that. And we still have to get the boys their main gifts (still undecided on Xander, Quin wants Pat Pat Rocket from Little Einsteins, so we are heading to the Disney store in a bit to see if it's there).

If you're still looking for the Pat Pat Rocket, I just saw it on sale today at Zellers for $40 and Superstore had it on sale last week.

Argh!! That would have been better than the $50 we shelled out for it at ToysRUs last night!! Never thought to look at Zellers, saw two at WalMart after we were at TRU. I did see it at Extra Foods (SuperStore) like two months ago, didn't think to look again in Calgary. Oh well.

i have to say that i heart mine too....i was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO afraid when i bought my rebel from best buy..but i got the BEST DEAL EVER on it...so i had to grab it up...well, we were at my daughter's christmas program and i whipped it out..and he didn't KILL me! WOHOO! I told him all about it..and that i would make th emoney back..b/c i take pics for people..so it ALL worked out! He didn't scream, yell, pinch or bite...i was SOOOOOOOOOO excited! So although he didn't pay a penny for it....i heart him toO! WOHOO!!! Merry Christmas TO ME and YOU!
