My husband, son and I were getting ready to go to therapy for the accident we had last month and I was leaning over next to the car trying to get the kitty fur off my sweatshirt with a lint brush when my husband opens the door and slams it right into my head. I almost passed out it hurt so bad. Still does actually. I was crying and I swear I felt blood coming out cause it felt kinda wet where it hit but my husband says he did not see any blood. You know the worst part? He did not even say he was sorry. Just asked me why I would lean over in front of the door where I could get hit. Ummm yea he had to walk past me to open the door and it was the back door so it wasnt like he was getting in the car at the time. Im not even sure why he had that door opened. The only person who really cared was my daughter. She was the only one who even asked if I was ok. Oh yea my husband says to me about an hour after it happened he doesnt see why it would hurt because he didnt hit me with a corner so it wasnt like it was sharp :blink: Wow didnt realize it had to be sharp to hurt!!

Yea Im feeling better now. I took some tylenol to help with the headache. Im not sure what he was thinking though. I told him that if it doesnt hurt so much getting hit by something that isnt sharp to hand me the hammer and Ill ghim in the head with the flat part and see how he feels. I know it hit hard because I honestly thought I was going to pass out. He usually isnt such a butthead about stuff like this but just a few minutes ago he said again he just doesnt see why it would hurt that much cause I got hit by the edge and not a point. Just wanted to tell him DUH you flung the door open into my head. Its heavy and made out of metal what more does it take to hurt someone? OUCH!! That sounds like it hurts. Are you feeling ok?

Ow, ow ow! I did this to myself once (I know, dumbass LOL), and got myself right on my eyebrow. It hurt SO bad! I hope you feel better soon, and sorry he's being such a twit!

Ouch!! Sorry that happened to you!! It reminds me of the time we were in the van and I was in the passenger seat but was leaning back behind DH's seat (leaning at a diagonal) to reach something for one of the kids in the back. DH elbowed me in the eye as he was pulling the seatbelt across his lap. It hurt soooo bad. I was crying and DH was like, "why'd you put your eyeball there?" Duh!!!! Because I didn't know it would crash into your elbow!!

Hope you feel better! Tell your DH to let you smack the door into his head and THEN he can tell you it shouldn't hurt.

LOL now he is saying he never said that it shouldn't hurt. Now he says he said that he didnt think he hit me that hard and so thats why he said it shouldn't hurt. Well the door weighs a good 100 pounds I bet if not more and its hard metal even if it just tapped me in the head itll still hurt :p

I think you should hit your DH over the head with a baseball bat and then say? Why would it hurt, it's just a round bat, there is nothing sharp on it! ;)
