I feel kinda stupid asking this question :unsure:, but what exactly is the digiscrapping race? I remember hearing something about it last year, but I never figured out what it really was! I would really appreciate it if someone could please explain it to me or tell me where I can read about it!!!!

"Teams of two will traverse the digital scrapping world, site by site, completing challenges and collecting prizes along the way. Everyone who completes the week's challenges in the allotted time frame will move on to the next week, where they can collect even MORE prizes! I am in with my RL BFF! She is a MAJOR scrapper well for paper/traditional anyways. I have to get her into digi last year. So she comes and we race together. It is fun!! Next year I might go out and solicit myself for a partner over the internet. This will be our 2nd year. Sooooo excited!!! I love being challenged:thumbup:.

Last year was my first time to race- and my team won the grand prize! Woo hoo! Of course that will be hard to top! The bad thing is some of the "grand prizes" didn't come through (even with NDISB trying to help them make good on their promise) but those aren't sponsors this time.

The good news for all racers- the prizes that you get for completing each challenge are fun, you get to find new places (I found SSD because of the race and now y'all are stuck with me because I love it here!) and it makes you scrap outside of your comfort zone- I tried new techniques and types of scrapping I'd have nevere tried otherwise. It should be fun!
