to make the forum pages load more quickly...I never had this problem before the site change stuff, but now it takes them much longer to load and I'm so impatient lol...is there a setting or something I need to change...it's just on my laptop that they're slower..when I visit from my mom's computer they load just as quickly as they used to...any ideas or am I just doomed for slow loading now lol :)

Lizzy... you need someone to come over and teach you how to use FF! IE is sooooo out of date in comparison! Keep up with the times woman, lol!

Over at DST, I set my setting so that it does not load the signatures. Not having all those blinkies loading speeded things up a lot. I haven't done it here, but assume you have the same option.

not sure if this is the problem, but I know that there is a setting (I think cookies or temp files) that help frequently visited sites load fast because it "saves" the image data. If your browser is having to load the graphics each time that could cause the delay.

It loads fast for me, on FF, Google Chrome and on Safari (they now have a Windows version).

It's like it's using a courier font instead of what I'm used to seeing..it's smaller too and it's showing up on any site I visit..I'm not sure how to describe it.

that is set in the default settings of your web browser. On FF that I am running it is under tools>options>content> then pick your default font
