My MIL is looking for something. I'm totally recommending Julie's Gridiron Glory (https://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/sweetshoppe/product.php?productid=16809&cat=0&page=1) kit, but I think she would like to see invitation ideas, too.

I haven't made anything myself...not really into football, lol...but I googled and came up with this:

I like to keep invitations super simple. A matted rectangle with the info in the center and a few embellishments scattered about. :)

There's a bunch of invitation examples in the gallery. I'm sure one of the styles could be adapted for football.

Whenever I've made invitations I've gone for super simple as I love the 'idea' of doing them but then if I make them too complicated I get bored halfway though and resent the 'making' of them.

I would suggest a centred design element and then some funky fonts for the wording.

Does she want to make them like a card that opens up with details inside and the design element on the front or as a single sheet, printed, with all the details and the design on it?

I don't think I have any pictures to share of mine - I tend to make them my gift to the hostess and they are always last minute, middle of the night that should have been there yesterday type of creations :)

Awww, thanks for recommending my kit! We've never had a Super Bowl party because my husband wouldn't want the distraction of other people. LOL However, I did have a hybrid thing that might give her some inspiration?? Here was a preview of that. (It's discontinued now, but might give some ideas)

I agree! I like to keep it bold and simple!

I agree with the simple . . . maybe just a football and a cute sports-type font. I make my invitations 4x6, so that printing is inexpensive and quick (usually upload to my local pharmacy that has 1 hour printing and zip by and pick them up). Can use regular legal size envelopes if in a pinch for time or money, but Target has an envelope size and the 4x6 print will just slip right in.

If she designs it 6x4, and could find a goal image from stock exchange or something, that might be cool to blend in the background.

Don't really have any catchy title/invite phrases right now . . .
