I finally got my wood laminate floors and I LOVE them! So now I need to know how in the heck to clean them!!??? What's the best (easiest) way to clean them? The shark? The swiffer? plain old water? Thanks in advance!!

didnt they recomend anything when selling/installing the flooring? Or did you do it yourself?

I was told not to use my Floormate on my laminate floors because the water can seep in the grooves and underneath which can cause bubbling and lifting.

I just use a good mop and Murphy's Soap and hot, hot water. I just ring out my mop really good!

Seriously, if you have any questions, I would call your flooring company.

haha, that's how I feel about my dyson. I may scrap it, you've inspired me.

On my lam wood floors I use the dyson, but then pnce a week, a damp mop with one of those long pad type mops. I don't know what its called but it is long and a rectangle with a soft terry cloth removable thingy. That's what the guy told me to use. I bought mine at the grocery store. Oh and for spot cleaning I use Mr Clean Magic Eraser, for when the little one colors on the floor with crayon. :p

Here in Brazil we have a couple of products especific for lam floors, but I was told just to use a umid rag on plain water :)
