1. WAS YOUR FIRST PREGNANCY PLANNED? Sorta - we had been trying for a year, then I decided to go back to school so we stopped trying and I was waiting to go back on the pill and well...there you go. :)

2. WERE YOU MARRIED AT THE TIME? Yes

3. WHAT WERE YOUR REACTIONS? I was excited, but my DH said "go pee on another one, maybe it's wrong".

4. WAS ABORTION AN OPTION FOR YOU? No

Funny story...I was a couple days late and so I did a home pregnancy test...it was negative and since I still *wanted* to be pregnant, I threw it across the bathroom. The next day I was in there getting ready for work and I saw it, and it had turned positive!

12. WHO/WHAT IRRITATED YOU THE MOST? I was SO hot (pregnant through the summer), our apartment was in the sun fully all day and it was just so horrible...DH would want the one fan we had for our bedroom so he could sleep at night, but I'd want it on me all the time - it was always a fight, lol.

It was bittersweet. DH and I had a fight the night I did the test. The fight was BEFORE I did the test and not related to babies at all. While he was out, I did the test and that pink + showed up real fast! I was happy, but scared about how DH would react since we had had a fight.

21. WHO DROVE YOU TO THE HOSPITAL? well, Nick & I drove over to a doctor's appointment to a specialist in NY (we live in VT), and the specialist sent us to the hospital from there.... which wasn't expected.

22. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH? My son was born the day his daddy had to go back to work (after a week off), but he was able to get there right in time for our son to be born!

24. DID YOU TAKE MEDICINE TO EASE THE PAIN? They gave me a spinal block and then pumped me with Oxycodone during and after surgery

You do not want to know how I looked down there; they were sewing for more then 2 hours ;)

1. WAS YOUR FIRST PREGNANCY PLANNED? Kind of. I went of the pill, mostly for health reasons, and we decided not to use anything. We were ready for kids, and thought that it would take a few months. I was pregnant in 6 days, lol. So yes, it was planned, but happened a little earlier than expected!

The doctors wouldn't even let me go home and get clothes. They shipped me right next door for emergency labor induction (preeclampsia)

22. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH? scott and I don't know how many doctors and nurses. I kept telling them to make my mom get out of the room but she wouldn't leave. Do you know they had the nerve to ask if a student nurse could come in, after 26 hours and having to re-do the epidural that didn't work the first time and only worked on one half of my body the second? They got a big fat hell no scream from me.

DID YOU TAKE MEDICINE TO EASE THE PAIN? after about 12 hours the nurses and Scott pretty much forced it on me. it knocked me out the first shot, then the next two just made me puke and didn't work. so they didn't know what to do with me since I was still at 1cm. The docs had to force dilate me to 2cm and gave me an epidural after 22 hours. Bam, baby was here 4 hrs later and only pushed 20 mins. We ever have another one and I'll make it clear to them to have the epidural ready and they'll have me out in no time.
