I was so sad that Carla didn't hold true to herself and let Kacie talk her into dishes that weren't her style. If she had stuck to what she knew I really think she would've won. And I am so happy that Stefan was boring so that Josea could win. Josea cooked his heart out and I would've stuck it to Stefan and given him that alligator too!

 I liked Stefan. I would have rather Carla had won over Hosea. I really disliked Hosea... REALLY. I felt bad for Carla though. I feel like she should have won.

Consistently, Stefan has proven himself to be the top chef all season, and like his attitude or not, it was his to lose last night, and he did. I didn't like Carla at all at first and was flabbergasted the entire season that she was still in, but the last few weeks she really proved herself. But, Carla seems a bit scatterbrained at times, easily flustered, and had she not forgotten to reset the ovens, she might've had a better chance. And doing a dish that she's never done before wasn't a good choice either, but Carla kind of has been that way the whole season. Hosea wasn't the top chef in my mind, but it isn't based off a season as a whole but the one meal..and he beat Stefan. I would've loved to have seen what Jamie could've done had she stayed.

I was SO glad to see Richard back - I kept saying - Let Richard win! LOL

hahah was great seeing Richard last night!

I hate that Carla wasn't true to herself and her cooking last night. I've loved her the last few weeks and she was on a roll! Hosea wasn't my fave either..but he stuck with what he knew last night and it paid off for him. Stefan--like Richard--just had a bad finale after rocking all season.

The judges said to cook a 3-course meal of their life and Carla does something she has never done before? Seriously, who would do that when trying to win something?? I would totally stick with what I know. Stefan is an amazing chef, but think he just played it safe as where Josea really played to his strengths and cooked food he loved. Carla wasn't confident so I think that worked against her. It shocked me to see Josea reign supreme when I was sure Stefan was a shoe in. I mean his desserts all season were amazing and in the finale he decides to make a plate of various ice creams? Just bizarre choices. I mean he even rocked that alligator dish.

"As it is in the reality of the restaurant world, no one flashed a smile at me in New Orleans and proclaimed me Top Sous-Chef." From Richard (http://www.bravotv.com/top-chef/blogs/richard-blais/top-sous-chef)on the blog at Bravotv.net LOL

Same here. I liked Stefan and really couldn't stand Hosea, especially after his lame "relationship" with that bland girl. :D I wanted Carla to take the whole thing but Stefan was definitely my number two.

I was so sad that Carla allowed herself to be influenced by Kacie! And while I don't love Stefan, he has consistently been the best all season - didn't he win like 7 or 9 challenges? I think that his overall record should have had some impact on last night's outcome. Hosea was pretty bad until about 3/4 through the season, and I was not a fan!

I didn't like how Casey influenced Carla, either - she really should have stuck to her guns and did what she wanted. I was surprised that Stefan didn't win, and was quite surprised that Hosea did. I was rooting for Carla between the 3 of them.

I was also really happy to see Fabio back - I love him! DH and I constantly quote him now - our favorite is "piece of....pooooooooooop". He needs his own show.

Stefan had a more consistent season ... but he has a horrible attitude and really didn't "wow" the judges the last few challenges.

Hosea wasn't at a the bottom that much. He just wasn't winning like Stefan was. His dishes last night were overall MUCH better than Stefan's.

I was actually kind of upset that Carla had made it to the finale. She was in the bottom SO much during the season. It frustrated me to no end that she let Kacie sort of take control .... um HELLO ..... Kacie didn't win her season!!!

Jamie was my favorite the whole season. I was so sad when she got kicked off, especially because I felt that Leah should have been. This is the first season that I'm seriously disappointed in who won, and I've watched Every. Single. Episode. of this show.

Fun crossover this week on Iron Chef America (we saw the rerun of this past weekend's episode last night). Arianne was a sous-chef for the competitor against Bobbie Flay.

I've seen Trey from Season 3 on Iron Chef, as well, and one of the guests on the finale of Top Chef, Wednesday, has been in competitions on Food Network. (I'm obsessed with cooking shows)
