Ok, so I'm a teacher and so not only are lots of names ruined for me by not-so-sweet kiddos or just repeating them over and over... so my kids have different names, but not TOO different...
Anyway, got the class pics back and they got Marley right, but who the hell is JAXOR? Jaxor? Really? They didn't think perhaps the teacher just wrote quickly meant Jaxon? Argh!

That is frustrating! At our school, the teacher gives the photographer a list and they type in the names for the picture. We have had all kinds of mistakes made--like even the teacher's names misspelled--and we know that they didn't send in their OWN name wrong! For 2 years in a row, the pic people have put the wrong mascot icon on the pic--and have had to re-issue class photos for the whole school!
I would mention it to the teacher and also to whomever coordinates picture day. It could very well be that the list was right and it is a typo. They will re-issue one for you.
Also---if you guys have a yearbook, they probably have the class pics in digi format. See if you can get that file.

lol..Jaxor sounds like a comic book character or something.
My son's name is Nicholas, yet I always get asked how its spelled. How about you just write Nicholas and if I used one of the lesser used spelling, I would tell you right away. I mean its been like a top 20 names for many, many years spelled that way.

My sons name is Nickolas but I spell it a little different then you do. I knew we would end up calling him Nick so I just figured it would be easier with a ck instead of a ch.
My daughters name is Crystal...I spelled it just like it is supposed to be but I get so many people asking how to spell it. I only knew of Crystal and Krystal but then someone in her class spelled it Christal or something like that.

I thought I was saving myself spelling headaches by using Nicholas, the most common one, guess not. I am Mari and always have to spell it, obviously. lol
