You know how sometimes if you drop something on your toe it will bleed under the nail and then it's there until the nail grows out? Well last summer, DS dropped a heavy toy on his big toe and it left his toenail blue for 2-3 mos until it grew out. THE DAY I trimmed off the last of that he got into my pots and pans and dropped one on the same toe and ended up with another blue nail...last night when he was taking a bath I commented that his blue nail was just about gone and when he got out of the tub we trimmed off the last of that one....So what does he do this morning? He gets into my pots/pans again and drops another one on his toe!! :p:p It hurt and I comforted him but I swear it's like we'll never NOT have a blue toe around here lol

Last season a real hummer of a ball hit me my left big toe and I still have a little bit of blood under the nail showing. 2 more months and I will have my toenail back. Mine isn't blue, it looks more black n blue though.

BTDT. I bruise very VERY easily with my skin being so pale.

I slammed my right thumbnail in my mother's car door in 7th grade. It was black 'n' blue underneath the nail for months. That thumbnail is still bigger than my left one.

oh ouch!! poor guy!

I remember a week after I had lily I took her to the dr, my mom came with me. I had just finished putting her carseat in and then accidentally slammed the door shut on my finger. If that wasn't bad enough I accidentally locked the stupid door and then proceeded to drop the keys on the ground, so i'm stuck there with my finger locked in the door and the keys on the ground. My mom couldn't figure out why I was screaming at her to come help me lol. That nail eventually fell off and it grew back strange.
