My job interview is at 1 and I have no idea what to wear or how to do my hair. I plan on wearing minimal makeup.
The company I'm interviewing for is Portrait Innovations (http://www.portraitinnovations.com/index.html)(click the name to go to the site). I'm not sure if I should go business or business casual.
Here is my picture from the February Photo Challenge...

I think you should always err on the side of dressier. Somewhere I read that you should shoot for one step dressier than the people you are interviewing with. Go with enough makeup to look a little "put together" but not too much!

business. The PI here, they wear slacks or skirts and nice tops. Comfortable shoes though.. although they all take them off to shoot. :)

Another question...heels or flats?

whichever you are more comfortable in! (heels or flats)
I'd put your hair half back if you are comfortable wearing it that way. Looks a little more professional than it being down.
My degree is in the HR field, and I can tell you the most important thing when going into an interview is to be as comfortable but professional as you can.
The biggest mistakes people make are wearing perfume (of any kind), wearing big clunky shoes (as opposed to something classic) or wearing big, trendy jewelry. You should look timeless but feel comfortable. Wear makeup but nothing flashy :)
The Portrait Innovations that I take my kids to, they wear slacks and a dress shirt, and heels, but they kick their shoes off in order to take the photos (to walk back and forth off the backdrop) . So, for you, I'd also be SURE to wear hose in case they would for any reason ask you to take off your shoes and take some photos! :)

Thanks so far for all the input ladies. I'm sure I won't make a decision til I have to leave...lol.
I was thinking about wearing my hair half back.
As for heels or flats, I'm comfortable in either. However, I'm only 4'9" tall so I typically wear heels...but in this case I want to be comfortable.
I need to run to the drugstore to get some hose....

I love Akron -- but not this time of year. I spent 6 weeks at a trial there in January-February of 1998 and it was grey and snowy every day (at least that's how I remember it!). And, I stayed in a silo. :D
