its because I was eaten alive by a monster mountain of baby clothes! I had my DH bring up all the boxes (of various sizes) of girl clothes I have. I have TONS of hand-me downs from Bree and another sister, plus a bunch from a girl I know who has 3 girls! I have GIANT rubbermaid tubs for each size (0-3m; 3-6m; 6-12m; 12-18m; 18-24m w/ 2T & 3T). And each of them is stuffed to the top.

So today, my afternoon is filled with sorting each into 3 piles. Keep, give back to lender or consignment. Then I'm filling up garbage bags and sending the ones to their prospective homes.

This is going to take awhile. Wish me luck!

Good luck!! I went through my disaster of a closet on monday and have 2 bags full to donate to good will. But that wasn't NEARLY the same amount of clothes! LOL!

Good luck! I can't believe I'm already filling up my own containers of DS3's clothes! But sure enough. all the newborn's out and much of the 0-3mos is out as well. I have already given some to my sister who's baby is 2 months younger than mine. at least we both had boys!

Ack! Luckily I am on my first child, thus they are still packing away for possible future use. ;)

I've been doing it 1 size at a time--going through all of it at once was way too daunting! I've gotten through 0-3 and 3-6 so far, and I have a few months 'til I have to tackle 6-9 mo. Since we had 2 boys and now a girl (our last), there's a lot to donate or give away.

I sorted clothes this week too! Took me almost an entire day by the time I hauled it all out of storage and sorted everything!

Avalynne is my first as well, and I *should* be squirreling the clothes away for future use. BUT I love shopping for baby things, and I know that all these clothes I'm saving are not going to be used much, because I'll end up shopping for our 2nd, whenever it comes along!

I decided to chuck anything stained, and keep only what I purchased or received as gifts. I set aside my hand-me-downs that my sister wants back (a huge black garbage bag full), and the rest went to consignment (an entire heaping laundry basket that was PACKED). The consignment store owner was so happy to get it all, lol!! I swear I could keep her in business for a full month with everything I took in!! And that was only the 0-6 months pile. Now I get to go through the 6-12 months!!
