And it is Amazing girls! Really Amazing.

I want to say thank you to all of you to staying true to "traditonal scrapping", even though we are doing it digital. I hate the way scrapping seems to be turning at other sites, but you girls are still here staying true to helping us tell our stories and preserve our memoires and I know I really appreciate that.

That's why I love it here.

Thank you SSD girls!

I haven't gotten it yet, but I am excited to see it!!

I too want to say thank you to everyone here for helping me to remember why we scrap. :) It's easy to get caught up in nonsense and competitveness at other places but I love that here it really is about recording our memories. :)

Will it discount with Sweet Rewards or is it not one of the items that we can use it on?

I not in the know but I'd say probably not because other "special things" (assortments, the old DAM issues, our own fonts) are not included in SR. But you never know!?!?

Awww it was a honor being able to contribute. Honestly I do love the versatility of digital scrapping and enjoy all different kinds of designs and scrappers so my page may be a bit diff then the more traditional. I guess I am not really your "traditional type" But to each their own ;) The girls completley rocked this mag out and it was beyond an honor to be able to have my layout there with such amazing talent! Congrats Robin and everyone that poured their heart into this publication. It REALLY shows and I can not wait for future editions!

Is this going to be a monthly thing?? Or more like a quarterly thing like the assorments? Wonder if a "subscription" will be offered eventually!?!?! I hope there is great success for this magazine, Robin and SSD and for us!!!!

it's NOT monthy..pretty sure right now it's 1/4ly. This issue took us a couple months to get together lol we'd die if it was monthly. I can see how other magazines don't make deadlines with all the work that goes into just 1 issue.

I just "flipped" through it and WOW! It's so polished and professional looking... much better than the other scrap magazines I've purchased! :) Great job, ladies! Really fantastic!

Hey girls!!

So glad you are enjoying Simply Sweet! It's been a labor of love for us over the past 3 months but I think it turned out amazing and really stays true to what we love about scrapping here at SSD.

We'll be releasing new issues every 3 months or so and wont be offering a subscription at this time.

You wont be able to use your Sweet Rewards discounts to pick it up so grab it today if you want to check it out at a great price!

We'd love to hear your comments and suggestions for future issues so feel free to email me at admin@sweetshoppedesigns.com k?

Take care,
Robin

It really is amazing, I am going through reading all the individual pages now that I have a moment and wow. I am just blown away. Bree I want to hug you and Mandy you crack me up. I can SO relate me and my husband are EXACTLY the same. He is WAY to laid back sometimes. Just amazing girls!

It's a beautiful magazine, loved it! And a great deal too, the magazine is great alone, the kit really makes it worth it.

And now that my question about beginner hybrid supplies/projects was answered, I guess I have no excuse not to try a hybrid project! :)

4 to 5 times a year is better for me at least...not that I don't love you all and want to read all about you every month but money wise I can totally justify the 6-7 bucks for 100+ pages and a free kit!!!

Plus I can tell that a lot of hard work went into it and you ladies busted your butt....wouldn't want you to have to rush every month and 1.) kill yourselves or 2.) burn yourselves out or 3.) lose interest in this phenomenal magazine!!!

I am so excited to read that everyone is loving it:thumbup:!!! So much hard work went into it. You did an amazing job Robin putting all this together. Everyone worked together as a team to make it all happen and I am so honored to be apart of the team!!! I am just in awe of how beautiful the final copy looks!! I am soo lucky to be working with the most talented ladies in digi-land. Now I am just hoping some of their awesomeness will rub off on me;)

Is anyone else thinking of getting theirs printed? I don't know what it is about scrap magazines, but I like to actually hold and flip through them. I'm thinking of having mine printed on a glossy paper with a cardstock cover and then wire bound...

I'd love to but I'd be scared what the cost would be

Its really not that bad. Well, I guess its not if you work for a printing place :) like I did... the boss is a good friend and gives me everything for cost.

I'll have to look into it though... I know that the binding is like 2.50 alone... eek!

Hey girls!

The issue prints beautifully but it's a smaller 6x8" digest sized format so you know what to expect when/if you print.

I definitely know what is now replacing my Digi Scrapbooking Mag purchase and it actually works out about the same cost in the end after I have converted the price in to NZ$

It's so exciting to read all the positive feedback about the issue after all the hard work that went into it, right up to the last minute even!! Robin, it looks FANTASTIC!! I still can't believe I'm part of this amazing team and as a newbie, it was fun to learn a little more about some of the babes & designers in the issue!!!

I have just read through it and I just have to say I'm so impressed! It's so obvious this has been something you all have thrown your hearts into and the end result is completely stellar. I am so honored to have been a part of such a fabulous project! SSD was and always will be my first digi home and a family to me. And seeing the magazine in all its glory makes me feel so proud to be a part of it!

Girls - it is so great to hear these kind words from you all.

I applaud Robin for doing such a great job on getting this all together. And really, it means alot to us all that you girls love it. What was envisioned as just a tiny comment in a post grew to something that as a Babe I am so very proud of. :)

Wow ladies! You must all feel very proud!! What an incredible read!!

I loved everything about it and it is TRULY one of the most inspirational scrapbooking magazines out there. I am inspired.

I love all the layouts and what is "meaningful" in each of your lives, your families.

One of my favorites what the "Dear Husband or man-who-can't-finish-a-project" layout! Are you married to my husband too????? LOL I could've sworn I wrote that myself! But I have definitely thought it!

Great job ladies!! I'm proud of you!!

Mandy

Heehee, thanks Leah.

I have to say that Robin is an awesome lady - she is so creative and inspirational and I'm so glad that you all like what she (we) has done here. It's so awesome to see an idea grow from a tiny little thing, into something this wicked-cool!
It was really fun to see all these seperate layouts come together into something so GORGEOUS!
I really can't wait for the next issue.

This thread is such a wonderful read!
Watching the mag slowly take shape over the months with each fresh and totally amazing contribution really has been a privelege beyond belief.
Robin has been her usual amazing self in bringing this "why dont we" thought into its own reality. The end result is nothing short of wow! She really can Walk On Water - I swear!!
I am so proud of the end result for everyone involved and so glad that you are finding it as inspirational as I have! This team is totally amazing!!

So I just sat down to read my first Simply Sweet Magazine (I know, it's Wednesday, but this is the first chance I've had)--and it lives up to it's name--SIMPLY SWEET.

Wow. I have never read a scrap magazine (or any magazine for that matter) from "cover to cover" in one sitting (thank you ds for napping so long!). I'm so impressed. I love the simple design and the colors were perfect. Wow, wow, wow. (And never mind that it came with a free download!)

Thank you so much for focusing on families. I needed that. And thank you for the inspiration!
