Do you guys ever have this in your house? Emma is at her grandparent's house, Darik had eaten lunch at like 2, so, it was just me and Mads for dinner tonight. I obviously can't eat much so cooking was not even an option for me and a 1 year old...why heat the house up for that? SO, Punk had a Lunchable, which she mostly ate the cookie and crackers from and I had a leftover porkchop. I've also been known to let Emma, one day a month, go have ice cream for dinner. Anyone else have "bad mommy dinners?"

Yep! I'm a bad dinner mom way too often!!! hehe but not with Lunchables! My oldest got sick after having his first one - so I've never bought another one! LOL

And you know what's funny about those type of meals around here, Annie? They're a bigger hit than when I bust my hump making a "good" dinner. Figures!:cursing:

Cereal bars are great!

And a cup of yogurt and some crackers for a different night.

Then there's the ever popular breakfast for dinner (pancakes and instant bacon).

That's what the Dino nuggets are for. :) Sometimes they have toaster waffles with Nutella for dinner or DeliMex taquitos. I call them "No Nutrition Nights".

Yup! Once a week the kids get to have chicken nuggets and fries or a similar super quick, low nutrition dinner. One of their all time favorite dinners is canned black beans, canned corn, brown rice, and cheese slices. That one's nutritious, but if not for the 10 min to boil the rice it would be a 3-minute dinner on my part.

Way too often for me. My dh is finishing up grad school so he often has late nights when he doesn't come home for dinner. Those are the nights the chicken nuggets, fish sticks, spaghetti-os, hot dogs, waffles or other similar foods come out. And they love it much better than when I take the time to plan and cook a great dinner. So frustrating.
