What are you all up to today?

Mason is off school today and DH got the day off without pay...he's going to take the kids to his parents.

I went back to work this weekend, so today is catch-up day for me. Catching up on PM's, emails, designing, etc. Good times! :D

But what I'd really like to get done today:

Finish reading my book (The Dog Walker by Leslie Schnur)
Make muffins
Make brownies
Design a bit

We'll see what I actually get done, lol...

I'm at work until 2:30. Then I have to pick up Cam at school, take some books back to the library and check out a few that I have on hold, get home and start dinner, put away Easter stuff, and then hopefully settle down with one of my new books (hopefully Eclipse).

Oh, and if its breezy enough before dinner, we might take the boys down to the greenbelt to fly the kites again. We did it for an hour yesterday and they're just dying to do it again. lol

the IRS thinks we owe them money so they're keeping our refund until we resolve this issue... so my dad is coming to the rescue. He's on his way over to help "fix" the problem! yay. that's all I have planned so far. I've been surprisingly productive today for the first time in weeks!

Man, I haven't flown a kite in forever. That sounds so relaxing to me right now, lol.

Working overtime (but I only get paid straight time for it) and probably going to bed early. Having BOTH of our families in town for the weekend was exhausting.

It's spring break here and my kids have all gotten their rooms clean. I know, I am amazed myself! We're gonna make some rice krispies treats today and veg out.

Today's my first day back to work (full time) in almost six months. I'm missing my baby so so much... and I'm sure he's missing me too - since he hasn't really adjusted to the whole "bottle during the day" thing. 5 hours and counting....

DH is off and my oldest is on Spring break so once I'm home let's see....

- Dinner
- Laundry
- Making sure house didn't get TOO messy with DH and the 3 boys home
- Set up the boys' new Wii (my friend got it for them for their upcoming bdays!)
- Organize my scrapping plans for the rest of the month (CT wise) since I am now back to work

Uhmm that's all I can think of right now LOL

We're going to a belated Easter playdate today because our original one rained out on Friday. So... we didn't really have "Easter" yesterday. I feel like such a bad mom because I didn't get Phin's first easter with the Easter bunny. (My 2 year old was positively terrified of him and I just didn't want to force him)

We were going to have the egg hunt today, so I forewent that yesterday... and... well, my guys are 2 and almost 10 months. I'm awful. guilt guilt guilt.

So, I made cake pops for the playdate today.

What needs to be done:
Lunch for the kids & me - done!
Unload dishwasher & reload - done!
Laundry (and lots of it) - two loads washed & one in dryer so far!
Vacuum the living room - done!
bank/grocery store/library

What I'd rather be doing though is relaxing on the couch with a book (Hunted - House of Night #5)!

ETA: I've actually accomplished a few things on my list today!! Woot!

Just dyed my hair (picture is posted in 365) and we're having a viewing of our house at 3, so the girls and I are going to go to the mall for an hour. Other than that, nothing really.

I just got back from PT. I'm sore. :( So the heating pad and ice packs are my friends today. But if I start to feel better then I need to work on laundry. And I MUST go to the grocery store to get milk.

I'm off today (yay and with pay!) and I've got 2 kids at home with no school. One is sleeping because he's not feeling well and the other one is watching Hannah Montana.

Oh and it's raining.

So my plans for the day are:

Nothing
Scrap
Finish downloading a gazillon SSD files (WOOT)
Drink more coffee
Nothing
maybe eat some lunch
Scrap
Download
Nothing

Phewwww...makes me tired just thinking about it!

Bwaaahahahahaha

Today, I'm vegging. I've got the boys upstairs doing quiet play and I'm just sitting here vegging out. I might even take a nap. Woot!

Tonight, I have an appointment for a color consultation for my hair. The salon where I got my hair cut last week requires one before they'll color your hair. Never had that before, but I'll go with it.

I need to clean the kitchen, do tons of laundry, pay some bills/work on budget stuff, prepare some praise team music stuff. What I really want to do is sleep. I need a nap so bad. We'll see. Maybe I can do a little of all of it.

Monday is always our free day (no school or therapy for the boys), so I'm home with all 3 kids. DH will be working late. I think the baby is teething, and she wants to nurse constantly. (She's only 3 mo, but my oldest also got his 1st tooth at 3 mo.) So far I've only managed to clean the kitchen and straighten up on the main level. I still have to make dinner, run a few errands, write thank you notes, scrap, and hopefully get some reading in.

Well only thing on the "calendar" is that two of my sons have guitar lessons. However, I am in a rush to get my robotics layouts done so the team can use the scrapbooks to hopefully entice some new recruits of homeschoolers for our robotics team! I am honored they like my scrapbooks enough to want to share the layouts with others!!

I also have only 3 weeks to Disneyworld and I am soooooooo NOT ready! Have to have the boys try on their outgrown jeans (length) so I can cut them off for shorts & hem them (my sewing machine is out of commission so will have to go to mom's)...so they have enough shorts for 10 days...hmmm could they wear them 2 days each?

Also want to figure out where we want to eat in each of the parks...I already went through all the "lunch" menus of all the restaurants in the parks and made a word document of the places that have "promise"...so we can get an idea of where we want to eat. ...that way I can make notes and we can be aware around the time we get hungry... I have very picky eaters here so going to save time at the parks by knowing where to go.

I want to buy an acrylic 4x4" cover set from bind-it-all and make a mini notebook (nothing fancy) to carry in my camera bag. I plan on putting in it the dining notes for the parks...and have lots of room to journal any notes I want to remember to use in the scrapbook when we get back.

I also want to make that cute Disney hybrid project that Jen posted! ...obviously not all of this will get done today...but I gotta start somewhere! lol Wish me luck.

Oh...and gotta go pick up prescriptions at Target tonight sometime.

Oh did I tell you I bought a DVD 8" player at Target a few days ago? It has a screen that pivots...and it has a 6+ hour battery!! Plan on using it at the airport and on the plane (to calm/distract my child that has some issues with flying)....and in the hotel at night. Figure both boys will love the portability of it! They had it on clearance for $143 but had been saving up those $10 Gift Certificates with transferred/new prescriptions (coupons clipped from their ads about once a month)....so got it for cheap. It has 2 headphone jacks so they can listen to the movie without distracting the other passengers. I bought GREASE movie and got Indiana Jones for free last week...so they will take the IJ movie on the trip to watch...along with their cartoons and other movies they like.

uhhh hmmmmm what was the question??

Plans...

well, I already went to the dentist and had the temp crown that fell out on Saturday morning fixed...
electrician came by and inspected the house...all good...

so now...
I should clean...
I should do something productive...
but all I want to do is go back to bed LOL.
It'll be a day of playing with Rachel and fiddling on the computer and trying not to obsess over family crap that I can't do anything about anyway.

What are you all up to today?

My kids are off school today too.

Let's see we've watched Harry Potter Order Of the Phoenix, Get Smart and right now they are watching School of Rock. I've made one snack and lunch. I've downloaded all the sweet rewards purchases, unzipped them and tagged them in ACDSee. I've scrapped 2 layouts.

I'd like to get one more page scrapped (didn't scrap all weekend long ) and then about 5PM I'm gonna start Spaghetti and Garlic Bread for dinner!

So pretty good day so far!!!

It's a regular monday here. I did school with the kids this morning and now I'm vegging. In a bit I need to do dishes and housework, then read to the boys and do an art lesson with them before dinner. The good news is we have plenty of leftovers for dinner and lots of Easter candy to bribe the kids with. :)

Hmmm... I work until 4:30 and need to stop at the store to buy groceries for the week. I should prolly figure out what I'm going to make BEFORE I get there, eh?

Jeff has class until 9, so I'll get home, unload groceries, feed & water & potty the dog, eat Easter leftovers, change into comfies, scan in picture (long story) for the cufflinks I'm going to get Jeff as his wedding present and get those ordered, figure out limited meal vs. buffet for the wedding lunch (and then discuss w J. when he gets home), print off taxes & payment slip for state taxes to be mailed tom afternoon, pick up living room & clean kitchen, and then, hopefully, post-process/Facebook some Easter photos & scrap & watch my Monday night shows.

I'm in a mood today so we haven't done much. I'm really trying to keep my patience with Emma today.

We went to my momma's and started some ham and bean soup with all that was left over from yesterday.
Done 2 loads of laundry
vacuumed up the mess that was my living room
Got rid of all the eggs and mess from yesterday
Helped Emma clean her room
Folded one load of previously mentioned laundry

and here I sit...I need to spend my Rewards and scrap a little, but I think that'll be it!
