I'm pretty open minded about a lot of things, but this I don't believe. They do need sunlight and soil to germinate. I saw this yesterday and at the end of the video there was a scientist who gave debunking evidence in that vein. Maybe I've just been around too long, but this simply reeks of sensationalism to me,lol.
If it is true, it really is one of the more bizarre things I've ever seen,lol.
