15 people died in the Columbine shootings. I was at the end of my senior year of highschool, lived only 2 hours from Columbine High School, and knew two girls who were students there at the time (they weren't there that day, thank God). For me, that day ranks in the top 5 most defining days of my life and I can't believe its been TEN years.
Its hard for me to think that the students that died (14 of the 15) would be in their mid to late 20s now, like me. Some of them would have gone to college. Some of them would have gotten married, started their careers, started families...
It still breaks my heart to think about it....

I was watching an interview on Today a few minutes ago..with one girl that was in the library (her friend crouched under the desk with her died)..she's gone on to be a social worker and is in the position to help others in life altering situations with firsthand experience. Hard to believe it's been 10 years.I was in my Senior year of college when Columbine happened. A tragic day all over.
The saddest thing about her interview..i mean she seems to be in fantastic spirits and her life has turned out I'm sure a lot different than she had planned on back then..but she said she doesn't make long term goals...It struck a chord in me.

I can't believe it's been 10 years either. I think it's one of the most tragic days in American history other than 9/11 and the OKC bombing.

Add me to the list of people who can't believe it's been 10 years. It still just absolutely sickens me.

I seriously cannot believe it's been 10 years already! I still remember it like it were yesterday! I was only 13 & just starting high school. I was scared to go to school for weeks! Such a sad day in our history. It makes me sick to think that someone could actually do somthing like that! :(

I didn't realize it's been 10 years already, too! Wow! Such a horrific day, but I'm sure everyone can remember it happening and what they were doing when they first heard- just like 9/11. Terrible!

10 years already... it does seem like it just happened. Its so sad. I was in grade 10 when it happened and I remember the shock that was felt all through the school, even though we were in Canada.

Time has gone by so quickly (at least for those of not immediately affected). Yesterday was actually the 14th anniversary of the Murrah bombing here in OKC, and today is 10 for Columbine...I can still remember where I was when I heard about both. Both heartbreaking, and I hope that we never forget those lives lost.
