How do you price your items for a garage sale? I have a bunch of boys clothes and toys? Thanks!

Ive never had a yard sale personally but every one I have ever been to usually just takes baby clothes and seperates it into boxes and says that what is in this box is like a quarter a piece or fifty cents or a dollar or whatever price you think is fair. Sometimes they will have like two or three boxes and each have a different price

Welllll...we just did one last week and are doing it again this week b/c it went so well...we went through all our stuff again, lol, to make enough to justify having the second one. I think a lot depends on your area and the norm, and also on what you have. For our kids' clothes, we did pants at $2.50, shorts/capris/skirts/shirts at $2, and dresses/outfits at $3. For our grown up clothes, we tacked on about $0.50 for each thing. Toys went from $0.25-$10...just depended on what it was, kwim? Of course some people want to haggle and that was usually fine...and we got a few stories (I sure hope they were true) and decided to help people out. All in all, it worked out really well for us. :)

Oh, wanted to add that if you have any way of getting racks or something for your clothes, it helps lots. We had 4 big racks like you see in a store (my MIL owns a little shop) and hung the clothes on them. We had some items like onesies sorted in tubs by size, but most all clothing went on hangers and on the racks. :)
