Someone should take the time to teach all men that ringing up their wives at nearly midnight and saying "don't worry but I am on the way to the hospital" is bound to freak out their wives also telling them that it's "nothing to worry about, I just need a few stitches" but giving no other details is also very very bad. Now I am going to sit here worrying about him for the next few hours silly idiot.

hope he is ok...I knnow the feeling. I got a similar call from my husband a few years ago when he had been in an accident down the road and couldnt really talk at the time and I was FLIPPING out!!! I managed to call him back and get more details but not for a little while. Hope your hubby will call you back and give you more details at least so you can get some sleep and not worry to much

Oh jeez! Crystal, I know exactly what you're talking about! A few years ago, I woke up to find a message on our machine that said, "Hon, I didn't want you to worry, so I'm calling to let you know that I was in a car accident. I was rear ended by a school bus. They're taking me to the hospital now. I love you." (Seriously, word for word. I played it about 100 times just to make sure I hadn't misheard it.) Men!!

I hope your husband truly is ok!!

They glued it for him and sent him home. When he told me what happened I had to  because it's a very Mark thing to do. Apparently he managed to cut himself at work because instead of using the correct tool for the job he was lazy. Just remember we are talking about the same guy who had to have surgery on his hand because he decided that it would be smart to remove the safety guard on the power tool he was using and then accidently got his hand caught in the blade. Anyway he's fine and we're all glad it was nothing more serious than his own stupidity :p Hugs Crystal xx
