Is this a good deal?
http://www.scrappersmusthaves.com/biitall20gha.html

I just found out at work today that we are on "Scheduled" (which really means Mandatory) Overtime next week....This means I have to work a 12 hour day on one of my days off next week....I am so unhappy about this and have to say this is one of my most dreaded things about my job! Anyhow, I figured if they are going to make me work Overtime, I might as well get something out of it--something just for me....LOL

I'm hoping someone might be able to tell me if this is a good deal or not....Has anyone ever purchased from this site before? I'm assuming, because I don't know, that everything shown in the picture is what I would need?

Thanks so much for any help....:)

Hmmm...it seems a little high. Lemme go check my other sites and let you know. It does come with a lot of stuff.

Ok, so I went over to scrapbook.com and priced out the set, and that price saves you around $10.

But, I think there's a fair amount of stuff in that package that you don't really need.
Are you planning on going to crops and taking this with you? If not, you don't need to spend $30 on the bag for it.
I think $30 for the book and journaling making tool kit is insane. All you REALLY need, is a pair of wire cutters that your hubby might already have or you can spend $5 at Walmart and buy a pair for yourself.
The corner rounder is pretty sweet, but I'd rather keep that $30 for other stuff and deal with straight corners, kwim? Lol!

So, it's up to you. I don't know that site, and I've never shopped from there so I can't speak on their customer service.
Here's where I got my stuff for my BIA from:

Check around on the scrapbook.com homepage too. There are usually coupons!

Hi Sheila! Let me check on how much I paid for mine and get back to you too. I hope you are doing well!

12 hour shifts!?!?!? Yikes!

I only paid about $65 for my blue BIA through my LSS and the packs of o-wires were around $5-6 each and I bought 3 different sizes I think. I don't think the storage bag and tools/accessories are really necessary for the $$ they want for them. I store mine on the top shelf of my desk and have never had a problem doing that. But I don't go to crops anymore so I don't have to transport it anywhere, if you do it might be a useful item.

Hi Robin, Yes, "I" think it should be illegal for any company to have "Scheduled" Overtime of any kind....Normally I work 10 hour days, but when Overtime is called "on" they say we have to work a 12 hour day since the length of the shift is 12 hours on my days off....For 8 years we only had to work a 10 hour day on our day off, then they changed it....I dislike any "Scheduled" Overtime of any kind....LOL

Thanks so much....I will patiently wait for your next reply....

Hi Shawna, Thanks so much for the information you shared....I do not do crops so I wouldn't need to worry about taking it any place....Can I ask if you could share with me the things that you feel I would need starting out? Ie. the Bind it All, the o-Wires, ????? I am so new to this, but really want to be able to give it a try....Thank you so much!

Ooo, I'm so glad to have found this thread. I've been debating whether to get a BIA too, and these tips are very useful - thanks for asking the question Sheila!

The only things that you absolutely have to have in order to use the machine, are the rings and something to cut them with (like a simple pair of wire cutters from a hardware store).

I bought the spacer bar, but I haven't used it yet. If you don't have anything to make covers or interior pages for the albums, then you'll need that too. I like to make notebooks with scrap paper around here that would otherwise get recycled.

If you have a Hobby Lobby in your area...check to see if they have the new PINK version in yet. ...then wait for an online coupon on their website...print and take it in to save 30-40% off it! I wouldn't buy the bag...it's not large enough to hold the oings...and you need them to make a project! Stupid design in my opinion.

I like the corner rounder...it was $25 at Hobby Lobby but they had 50% off all their paper punches one week...so I got it for $12.50!

Sheila - did you get one?

Mine arrived this morning! ...but I'm having to wait to play 'cos my rings and covers haven't arrived, and it'll be mid-next week before they come at earliest as its a Bank Holiday in the UK on Monday.

Can't wait to play :)

Oh Sara, I'm so jealous (in a good way) that you already got yours....:) I have to order mine....I was waiting to get as much info as I could before I ordered mine, plus I need to find a free minute to myself....LOL

Can't wait to see what you create with yours once you receive your rings and covers.....
