Okay, so normally I wouldn't just start a thread like this about myself. But, honestly , I'm just so darn proud! lol Im overweight! Most people don't guess nearly how much I weigh b/c I can hide it well. But, I've been working on losing weight! I've been eating healthier & better portions. Cutting out a lot (not all) desserts & cokes. And I've been walking a mile & doing 50 crunches every day (except Sundays) I'd like to lose a total of about 45 pounds. I weighed in this morning & I'm down 15! That's a third of the way there! I'm so stinkin excited!!!!! Just had to share!

I am so proud for you! That is a huge accomplishment. Keep up the good work. I think it is great that you take a day off and don't deprive yourself of the soda and sweets. Moderation is working for you and you are less likely to binge that way.

And, as for the dessert, that's no big deal. It's the potatoes & pastas that get me! lol

That is so fantastic! Congratulations on meeting your 1/3 of the way goal . . . can't wait to see you show off your pics when you cross your "finish line." I suffer with obesity as well, so I get all excited when someone works hard and succeeds!

Congrats! I am guessing you are tall? Its much easier to hide on a taller frame. I lost 45 pounds right before I had my son, it was a great feeling. Too bad I still have about 10 pounds of the 'baby' weight still left and had wanted to lost another 10 to 15 pounds before I got pregnant. Ugh. Need to get my butt back in gear like you!

It's great when you see results, congrats. I've changed my life for the better with exercise and good food choices and I've now lost 42lbs in 9 months. Keep going and you'll keep feeling better every day. I now weigh less than I did before I fell pregnant with my first baby 7 years ago.

Thats seriously awesome Deb! I know what you mean about hiding the weight well. I was a size 14 trying to find jeans to fit, and the sales woman kept passing me 10's! I'm a 18 now and most people are suprised at that because they think I'm about a 14.
How long have you been going for your walks & doing crunches? I need some motivation! :)

lol, yes! That's totally it! I'm down to 14-16, depends on the pants/skirt. And I have a friend who brought me a pair of jeans that's a 12 and said, "I know these are probably too big for you..." Makes ya feel good! That's for sure! :)
I've been doing the walking and crunches thing for about 2 months now. It's such a great feeling!
