and ready to kill/strangle my husband!! He brought in a snake that is red/yellow/black. Now it was not a coral snake but it could have been. He did not know that when he brought it inside. He thinks it is so funny to scare the crap outta me. I looked it up to see if it was a coral snake because a cat actually caught it and I was worried about whether it might have bit the cat. I told my husband if he does it one more time he can sleep outside with the snakes!!

Oh he took it outside and released it in the woods behind our house after trying to get me to touch it

he and my son are trying to get me to let them get a snake. I am ok with lizards, frogs anything but snakes!! Not sure why they freak me out.Boys. :glare: Yes... I said it... BOYS!

I find movement without legs or wings or fins to be... creepy LOL. I don't HATE snakes but I think they're weird critters for sure.

well we got pictures. (I took them from a safe distance after yelling at him to get the effing thing away from me!!)

I also have pictures somewhere of him picking up a water moccasin.or friend of jack ^_^ .. Ce would have been thrilled to see the snake LOL.

Boys. Both of my boys would have LOVED to see it, but neither would have touched I don't think, lol!

As much as I hate snakes I am very used to the boys coming up to me with one in their hands. I never allow them in the house tho!

Why is it that men feel the need to do that to us women? I could strangle mine when he pulls stuff like that. <don't they realize that is NOT the way to get a "moment" with us by scaring the YKW out of us?>

It was probably a King Snake. I have been scared by them too many times thinking it was a Coral Snake.
