Detroit - anybody been there?

DH & I are staying there in a few weeks. Anything we shouldn't miss? I've never been there.

We will be attending the Tigers/Brewers game & we'll see Comerica ball park & the Science Museum sounds cool in the brochure, but I haven't checked it out on the web.

We were going to go to Canada, but those plans are nixed due to not having passports. :thumbdown:

I live about an hour away from Detroit but I used to work in the city. Comerica park is my favorite so the Tigers game should be fun. Across the street is Hockey Town, but it will be jam packed with the Stanely Cup going on right now...especailly when we WIN :thumbup:. Greek Town and the RenCen are pretty cool too. The Detroit Art Institute (DIA) is always a draw too. I hope you enjoy your visit :)
