I knew I had strep immediately after starting to feel symptoms. Because...two children in Tabatha's and my households had it this week. So, at 3 a.m. last night I went to the little quiet ER in town and they told me I had strep (I told THEM I had strep LOL) and they gave me a shot of penicillin. I asked for the shot so that it would work faster and I wouldn't have to wait for the pharmacy to open to get the meds in my body.

So, the problem has been treated and now it's the waiting game to feel back up to speed.

try coke slushes...maybe they will be ok going down your throat? I highly recommend buying those special slush mugs to have in the freezer anytime someone gets sore throats or just doesn't feel good.

I have bought from this company many times. We have about 6 cores in the freezer and 3 handles. They are wonderful...they have saved us so many trips to 7-11 or quiktrip in the middle of the night for the kids when they were little. ...and saved us money!

That sucks. I live on Icees and Slushees when I've got strep...the cold helps numb the throat.
