Make him some with little snapshots of him reading books...and with his name on them...bet he would like those. Maybe even a bookmark with pictures of his favorite toys...unless that would encourage him to go play and not to read? lol

I downloaded a template once upon a time from Elemetnal scraps that was for a hybrid bookmark...but it was a "corner" one. I just did a quick search but couldn't find it......maybe ask over there and someone might know!!!! I just checked my file and it doens't even have a name...but it was the cutest thing ever and I really do plan on making some for my girls!!! :D

I bought these really cute ones at Barnes and Noble for my daughter. They were little kitty cats and there was a magnet in the middle to hold them on the page. I will check and see if they have them on the website and link back if they do. You could probably make something similar (this was before I started doing digital scrapbooking)

If you have a printer, check out your store of kits for images that are simple to print onto card and cut out - even better, let your son choose some.
I've just made a card using for Heather's blog (http://www.heatherroselli.typepad.com/), and printed out an extra surf board (as you do :)) which my husband is now using it as a bookmark - its the prefect shape.
Your son could have a new one each week, or even one match the book he's chosen! For longevity, I'd laminate them.
Definitely make some - there are so many cute kits on this site, I'm sure you could make some great ones :)
