Over the next month, we'll be doing a lot of traveling - not like cross country or anything, but twice to visit my husbands parents 7 hours away, and lots of day trips to fun places. So I was thinking of making up or printing out some travel bingo cards for my daughter. OR something else fun like that.

Has anyone seen travel bingo cards made up already anywhere? (like different colours of cars, different farm animals, etc. ... my daughter is almost 4). If there is I could be shopping, if not I'll have to make my own.

Does anyone have any great suggestions of other things to get ready for traveling with kids?

Can i just pipe in..and say make sure you pick up the next issue of Simply Sweet..there MIGHT be a project that tackles this...just hearsay of course but I have pretty good authority that there might be something up your alley for this. I believe it should hit the stands early July :)

I think I have seen them at walmart with the little sliding windows.

how about a metal cookie sheet with sides...and different magnets?

Magnetic paper dolls with clothes?

The BEST thing we have found for the car is books on tape- my daughter LOVES them (she is also four). We have some that we own, and some that we check out from the library... sometimes she follows along in the book, but mostly she just listens. And, for what it is worth, my hubs is known to crack up right along side her... not just for kids! LOL!
