I've got pics of my son at the eye doctor....just curious if we have any kits for glasses and contacts?

Hmmm... weren't there some cool glasses in the geek kit? Can't remember...
ETA: I think that I was thinking of the Geek Are Hot kit. There's also the Summer Reading one, which is neat and versatile.

I've got all the kits mentioned so far...I really meant one more themed towards eye appointments...like with an "eye chart" and all...maybe with some cute word art or something. Son has already come up with the title of the page...just gotta figure out what kit to use.

There are no kits like that here at SSD. Try asking over at DST. I'm sure someone has something somewhere...

Maybe an add on to the existing Dr kits(Misty's Ouchie, La and Melissa's Doctor, Doctor, or Heather's When I Grow Up).
Especially since so many of us just had their kids go through Kindergarten check ups.. with the ear and eye checks in addition to the regular Dr stuff?

i'd just combine elements from different kits that would go with the theme... and an eye chart would be easy enough to make yourself. wordart too.
good luck! :)

I think there was a thread about this at DST once before, but no one really had anything. I'm not sure if anyone ever made one afterwards or not! It would be a GREAT kit idea!

I know...I have some cool pics from the eye dr...with that "machine" that checks your vision...etc. Somehow the glasses in the kits here just aren't the kind a 14yo ds would wear...at least not mine! lol
How about it ladies with the doctor kits...and add on for an eye doctor? Write me...I'll give you enough ideas to make a mini!

I'd be interested in a mini kit about eye glasses, doctor, chart, etc. too.
(I also read it fast and was wondering who wanted the "glass eye" kit and what kind of pictures did they have for that. ha,ha)

I've been wanting to do a doctor/medical kit for a while, so I bet I could tackle that and include some eye dr stuff, too. Would that work for what you're looking for?

oooh, Libby! Whatever you come up with will be so terrific! Any chance of being either boy or girl(maybe like the colors of your Hibernation, or A Very, Very, Very Fine House--where you had the dark colors but with some 'girl colors' so you could go either way easily? Maybe some frames that would be either boy or girls, and reading glasses too.
The kit could also be used for LOs about the trials with getting glasses,(all ages) making the leap to contacts, needing bifocals(one of the realities of being mid 40's!:p). Maybe sunglasses too for making 'cool dude' or 'movie star' LOs. I can even see using the eye charts to be used with your car kits for getting your driver's license... yes, I am a nut:p
