I need to get a pair of shoes that are comfortable to walk in for an upcoming vacation. I pretty much wear flip-flops yearound and really don't want to do socks with tennis shoes. I have heard a lot about how comfortable Crocs are, but have never owned a pair. My feet sweat really bad and I don't want to get a pair and have the farting noises and stinky shoes. Does anyone have a pair that they really like and would be great for walking all day? Here are the ones that I have been considering:

I have 4 pairs, including the middle pair in your list. I wore them during my disney vacation and was happy with them! Very cushy and springy! I never had any noises. LOL... dying at that thought! And I wore them as water shoes too. I wear them to work too (standing on a concete floor for hours at a time).

Well I dont own one but my kids have a lot of them and I read somewhere that they are odor-friendly (your feet wont stink), non-slippery and my kids love them, they wear them all year.

I love my crocs..I haven't seen that first pair but will be finding me some soon! lol...I wear mine pretty much daily, in Mississippi...in 98+ weather and my feet don't sweat or stink in them. Don't buy the knockoffs though b/c they will make your feet smelly as I learned with DS. They are SOO comfortable and they are the best thing ever invented for kids to wear I think.

i love the cleo, but can't stand wearing the mary janes. my feet get sweaty and i feel uncomfortable with the closed shoes. although my feet is sweaty, it didn't stink LOL
i only get the squeaky noises if the entire shoe is wet, like in the beach or rain water. i have not tried the newer styles, though.

I just bought a pair of Crocs at the outlet mall in Houston a few weeks ago. They are all I have worn since, and I haven't had any problems with stinky feet (and our temps have hit 108). They did sweat a little, LOL, but when it's 108 and your AC is broken, your feet are gonna sweat even if you're barefoot!

I have the first pair and I LOVE them. I wear them allt he time!! I was at the zoo all day in them and they were perfect. I have plantar faceitis and they are uber comfy for that too.

Well, I have 4 pairs of Crocs & love 3 of them! I have 2 of the original "Beach" styles and 1 in Malindi! I wear one of those 3 pretty much all the time! lol I wear them any time I know I'm gonna be walking or on my feet for a long time!
I also have the Juneau (http://www.crocs.com/womens-footwear/women-footwear,default,sc.html?sz=1&start=30&srule=price-sort-1-9) and hate them! But, what I don't like is where the elastic material is sewn in, the stitching is really rough and scratches my foot. But, the rest of the shoe is great. But, I will only wear them for very short periods of time.

I'm *pretty* sure they have free shipping right now too. :)

Huh... I must live under a rock, I didn't know that crocs had these type of styles, I only thought they had clogs which my weak ankles don't like. I just of the styles that you were showing, I'll have to get a pair myself! ;)

Oh! And I live in GA where it'll get up in the 100's with 100% humidity! Yes, my feet sweat some, but only b/c of the heat. They sweat when I'm not wearing my crocs. lol But, they never make noises or stink!

I actually have 2 brand new pairs that I need to list on ebay that I'm selling since I bought them and missed the deadline to return them. :( (I had bought 4 pairs and only intended to keep 2.) If anyone wants to buy them (they are BRAND NEW) they are size 7. I'd sell them for $10 each + shipping.

I have the Malindi in brown size 7

I have pair of the regular ones that I use for mowing grass and gardening. They are quite comfy. I haven't worn them for long walks or anything, so I don't know what they'd be like for that.

My kids wear them EVERYWHERE, they even had the Mammoth ones for winter, and I never heard any farting noises LOL.

I agree with Nikki, don't buy the knock offs, they do tend to smell like cheap sponge or something. Crocs have so many styles, I'm sure you'll find a pair you love!

I've always hated Crocs because of the way they look, but these new styles look great! And to hear you can wear them with plantar faciitis made me sit up and take notice! I've been stuck in 2 pairs of sandals all summer because of that.

I want a pair of the Mammoth ones...maybe for Christmas. Hopefully they'll be available then! I LOVE my Crocs...I wear them as slippers and if I have to run out to do something in the yard, but I don't go shopping in them or anything. They may not be stylish, but they sure are comfy!

I have 3 pairs of crocs and love all of them! My bright pink clogs are my work shoes what I LOVE about wearing crocs in the ED is that they aren't supposed to be able to harbor bacteria and with all the poo that I am around at work (sometimes literally) its nice to know. Plus they are easy to clean I have a brown pair of olivias that I wear with everything from jeans to dresses and another black pair of clogs that I wear for daily use in the garden and such.

My pink ones that I've had for 4 years, still fit great and give good support for an 8hour day on my feet.

I love my crocs, too!

I wasn't a fan until they started coming out with the cutesy kind!! I bought a pair of black mary janes and I swear I get more compliments when I wear them.

Plus, I have a big foot (size 9) and they do not look like boats which is a HUGE PLUS in my book!!

Go get you some, girl!!

My vote is for the first pair...I'm gonna go search for those for myself right now! Eeeeek!

Thanks, girls! I don't need anymore enabling!

I also have the last pair you showed (Patricia) and don't like them AT ALL. That particular style runs REALLY narrow for some reason and it's just not comfy to have a tight plastic strap across the top of your foot, IMO.

So I went ahead and bought my first pair. I found some here (http://www.shoebuy.com/crocs-celeste-canvas/247592/530619). They were already 14% off and then they had the 20% off coupon code, plus they had free shipping. So I saved $15. I think I am going to look for some flip-flops or sandals too. I noticed they had a lot on E-bay.

Ok... this thread has convinced me that I NEED some!

One question before I order- how do they fit? Are they true to size or do they run a little big/small? Especially you ladies that have both flats and heel styles, do you see a difference in fit? I would most likely be getting the Patricia, Cyprus or Sassari, so somthing with a little heel(I am TOTALLY height challenged!!).

THANKS!!!

I have the first pair you show. I have quite a few pairs of Crocs. The first pair you show in your post are not my favs. They tend to make my feet sweat quite a bit more than I would expect. I really like all of my Crocs. The only problem I have had was that I ordered a pair of flipflops (their basic style) in a different color than I already had and the size was COMPLETELY off. They had to be at least 1 size larger than what they were labeled. I plan on sending them to my Aunt since her feet are at least a size larger than mine.

So I am the only person who hates Crocs? I think the non-clog styles are super cute and all, but that pesky textured footbed drives me up a wall!!!! Andrew has a pair of Crocs that his mom gave him for Christmas last year--I put them on one time to run and get the mail. OMG...I wanted to cut off my feet. LOL!

That said--I do love my fake crocs from payless. They're officially retired now though, I found real sandals that fit my massive feet.

Local stores do carry them. We have a few stores in the city that carry them (Rite Fit & Globo Shoes). Usually athletic stores carry them. Not sure about small towns though...I might have to go into the city to get mine since I don't trust ordering the right size online. The ones I have right now say "W (6-7)" but on their site you can order size 6 OR 7, not a mix.

I got my new ones yesterday, and it made me realize how much my well-loved pair of Cleos has stretched. The new ones felt even more supportive. The new Adaras were a lot wider than Cleos, so those are going back in favor of a 2nd pair of new Cleos and one of the Patricias.

We live outside Washington, DC, and there's a big outlet mall near here with a Crocs store. Unfortunately, it's too big a hassle to get there with the kids, so I ended up ordering online instead of making the trip. Other stores (Macy's and I think Footlocker) sell some styles. I'm finding that from one style to another the width sizing is different.

alright alright!!! I gave in...especially when I went to Dick's Sporting Goods today and saw that all their Crocs are 50% off!!

I bought this for Stacy's daughter:

...and bought myself these:

...and the cool thing was my 20yo ds had a $35 GC he was given a few years ago for Dick's Sporting Goods and gave it to me since he wasn't going to use it!

Well I hope I like them! My sister says I will...and even if I don't...she does and she'll wear them for me. Hmmm a little sister saying that...did I fall for that old line? ;)

Woot woot!!! Those are TOO cute, and Rachel will be thrilled! She's been bugging me for new shoes every time the Payless commercial comes on!
(((hugs))) and big thanks to her Aunt Sharon!
