I'm so sorry!!!! I remember when we lived up there and once or twice we had the really high 90's...and it was unbearable. We didn't have A/C either nor did our car. I think I only knew one person up there that had it. We spent a lot of the day at the library, the mall, the movies...wherever we could go that was out of the heat!

Your side of the state just can't handle this! Stay hydrated :) I live in Eastern Washingotn and we have 100 plus days lots of times :) I think we are suppose to be cooler than you guys today! :)

It's so weird, Fairon, because that's a normal summer day for us, but we're not going to get above 90 today, if we even reach that! Just backwards stuff.
Definitely - go to the movies, spend the day at the mall, do whatever you can to be indoors where they do have AC!

I defenitely feel for you!! I think down here in Florida it is more rare to find someone who does not have AC then those who do. On the news today it said we were in mid 90's but the heat index up around 100 or so. I can imagine though if you are not used to it it would be very difficult!!

Yea it's so crazy! I would be fine if we have AC. Actually, I would be fine with no AC if it was just me, but DS is only 18 months old, so I'm worried about keeping him cool. My dad drained his hot tub and filled it will cold water so we are going over there this evening lol :)

I'm in Texas and can only dream of living in a place without A/C...we've had 41 days over 100 this summer (and only 3 this month under 100- like 97 is that much better)...
Let your little guy run around in his underwear---he may as well while he's at an age where it's still an acceptable way to keep cool!

yep... it was 104 here in Portland yesterday and today it is supposed to be 101... but since it's currently 97, I'm thinking we might surpass 101.

Meanwhile here in UK, we're having a typically damp July. Rain yesterday, rain today, and can you guess whats in store for us tomorrow?
I envy your sunshine, but not the heat. A/C is a wonderful invention :)

Ugh, you poor girls! It's been over 110 here for weeks, but at least we have AC to escape to!
