Does anyone know of good websites that have decorating/design ideas?

I'm going to be painting the house and i'm looking for some inspiration. Especially for the kids rooms and the playroom.

thanks in advance for any grand wisdom!

maybe Better Homes and Gardens. Also if you go to Home Depot or Lowes they have tons and tons of ideas and how-to's in the painting section

I haven't done it myself but blackboard paint can be really fun in a playroom (just make sure they know which wall it is ok to color on -- LOL).

Here's a link (http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/ny/look/look-chalkboard-paint-on-a-kitchen-wall-001587)to a photo.

yeah blackboard paint IS fun, i did that on the back of our island in our old house in our playroom/scrap room.

i'm definately thinking about doing something w/ it in the playroom again!

I love the idea & look of the chalkboard, but hate chalk! LOL Is there anyway to do like a whiteboard (dry erase) wall?

I have seen some cute ideas at Lowes/Menards/Home Depot in the paint sections. I found one I want to paint my son's room in when its finished there.

you could just let the kids paint the room LOL kids seem to love paint and not putting it on papers either:blink:

Thanks for the suggestions!

The kids have picked colors already, but i was just hoping to find some sort of cool look or something... like in Jessica's room, i'm thinking of doing fat horizontal stripes of pink on pink (uh... different shades obviously), but i also have this MAJOR itch to do something really doodly on her walls too.

I might hit Lowe's today and pick up some supplies......
