Is there a way to get Bridge to rename a bunch of items in a folder this way...
original names:
tree
flower
paper01
paper02
paper03
cupcake
to keeping the original name plus adding more to the beginning or the end of the original name? i.e.
tree sandydesigns
flower sandydesigns
paper01 sandydesigns
paper02 sandydesigns
paper03 sandydesigns
cupcake sandydesigns (that's made up name)
I couldn't figure out how to keep the original name and add something to it...
Thanks!

I'm not sure about in Bridge, but I use a program called ReNamer. It's a free download, and it's super duper easy to use. I use it when I'm renaming my files to put in my kits. It has lots of options, so you could very easily add something on to the existing name.
Let me find a link for ya... brb...

You're so welcome! It's pretty easy to figure out, but holler if you get stuck. :)

Libby....you have just saved me sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much time! I couldn't even BLINK before it added a suffix to about 100 files for me! :w00t: I have a TON TON TON (many gigabytes worth of stuff) to rename! Thank you for taking the time to tell me about it!

LOL You're welcome. I remember when someone first told me about it (I think it was Shawna Clingerman maybe?). I was giddy because I'd been renaming by hand up until that point! LOL!
