Hubby ruptured his Achilles tendon (playing basketball) 10 days ago and today he will have his surgery under general anaesthesia. Allthough it isn't a big, life threatening condition, I am nervous. Can you keep him in your thoughts, please? He is my life, without him I am nothing :(

My BIL had that too, so I know it's no fun at all. Lots of P&PT that he heals quickly.

Thinking of you all Nathalie - hope it went smoothly and that the road to recovery is short and trouble free! Any surgery can be daunting no matter how 'routine' the procedure.
It must have been extremely painful!

Thank you so much for your thoughts! I have been in hospital for nearly 6 hours yesterday. Admission was at 1pm but surgery finally was at about 5pm. Then I waited until 6.30pm when the surgeon came to me to tell me all went well. I was hoping to be able to be in his room when he got there but I needed to go home, feed the kids and bring them to bed. But soon after I was home hubby called me :wub - the first thing he did when he woke up. Let's hope the night wasn't to bad. In a couple of hours I can take him home. I know this sounds saucy but I hate to be apart from him, even one night.:o
