Can you believe that? I was fully vaccinated and even had a booster with my tetanus two years ago. (who knew?) But I guess being a teacher puts me at even a higher risk than normal people. (ha ha. normal people)
She said that a test would be pointless b/c since I have been vax'd, it'd show up no matter what. So she's just going to treat me like I have it. An rx for two weeks. I'm not going to school tomorrow, but hopefully I'm okay to go on Monday. I called to ask... so we'll see!
Pray I get over it quickly!

Eek! So how can they tell for sure that you really have it?

They can't tell for sure, but she doesn't know what else it would be, so she's treating me as if it were. My only symptom is a dry, deep cough that comes in attacks. No fever. No runny nose. Chest xray clear. No aches. Nothing. She even checked to see if it was asthma and when my "puff" only went up to 350, she gave me a breathing treatment. After the treatment it was only 300. LOL I am definitely a mystery to her still, but we're hoping the Rx clears it.

I hate those "mystery" ailments. You'd think with all of modern science they would have cured the common cold and cough kinda things by now. Hope you feel better soon!

Wow that is weird that you would come down with it. I wonder if its just a mild case and if you hadn't been vaxed if it would have been a million times worse?! Get better soon!
