I took some photos of a friends baby this weekend and I can't seem to get the color to boost right. He either turns a ghostly white or he is way to pink/orange.
This is the flickr album (http://www.flickr.com/photos/47896833@N00/sets/72157620961038699/), the pics are the ones in the blue polo (the white onesie ones are older). The photos labeled with the E in front were edited. The rest are SOOC

Super cute photos Amber! So okay I picked one and did a quick play with it in CS3 -

I used one of Sarah's (My4Hens) actions, I have them all but for this I just chose Prime Time from her My Four Freebies set. Once the action ran I messed around with the different layers and liked it best with turning off all the adjustment layers except for Extra Something Something and then ran a free web sharpening action from MCP Actions and that was it :)

I played around too and came up with this. I used the Auto + White Balance preset from this site (http://prophotoshow.net/seim_effects/2007/09/25/some-free-lightroom-workflow-and-effect-presets/) with an extra boost on exposure and vibrance.

thanks!! These look great. I have that freebie set from MyFourHens ... I will try to run it on some of the other photos and see what the mom (my BFF) says
