so we are doing some remodeling in our house and i'm getting a small room that I can convert into a craft room. So i'm trying to find inspiration on how i wanna set it up. I'm daydreaming about shelving and a big chunky table and what not. I swear i saw a book recently that had all these diff. people's craft rooms in it, but can't recall what it was called. Anywho, if anyone runs across images or links, i'd love it if you could share!
Thanks so much!

i like the idea of using an armoire for storage. i'm kinda liking something like this (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20116071) from Ikea; the shelve unit is separate. or this (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S19865629). they aren't really that expensive. though i don't know how much shipping is. i dont' have an Ikea near me. :( crap, that last desk is not available online. figures. there are two Ikeas in IL, one in MI and one in OH. i'm right in the middle, lol.

I'm working on changing up my set up a little bit right now. I want to get an armoire for some of my storage and take down the wire metal shelves I have on one wall. It'll hide the mess much better, which will make Jordan MUCH happier. But, here are some pictures. Both desks are from Ikea and I love them. The storage cubes are now all on the wall opposite the desk underneath the wire shelves that I apparently didn't take a picture of, but I want to move them to become the support for the glass topped desk (a la Pottery Barn's glorious Bedford workspace (http://www.potterybarn.com/products/build-your-own-bedford-home-office-system-components/?pkey=cdesks-home-office)). Pardon the poor lighting.

I really love my Galant tables from IKEA. My room has NEVER looked like this since the day I took the picture. It always looks like a bomb went off in it. But I figured I owed my DH at least one nice picture of my anniversary present (and all his hard work).

Wahhh I moved to a smaller house, so no craft room for me! I don't really need one, I just want my OWN room. That I can paint pink. LOL

Oh no, threads like this are dangerous! LOL! Everytime I open one I want to re-do my office which is a combination junk room/office/storage!

I read a blog that just had shown her room off. It is a beautiful room with all sorts of character.

omg thank you for the pics and links!!! so many great ideas!
and omg that karen russell room is to die for!!!!!!
i'll keep you posted once i get to start rolling on my room, we are still finalizing the financing for the work we're having done, so i probably won't be able to work on this til the work is done cuz we are having the doors yanked out of that room and moved to the other side of the room... i know that doesn't make sense, but i'll show pics once things get on their way. :D

We also are living in a smaller house now, so I don't even have a desk. Just the kitchen table.
